The same feelings in everyone
Feelings are universal. Consciousness
is universal – a medium prevalent in all. The phenomenon of existence is
universal – leading to identification with the mind and body. The composition
of mind has an impulse of hunger, fear and meaning. The impulse of formlessness
to form and viceversa is universal and unstoppable. In the force of creation
and transformation – the forces of dilemma, negotiation, struggle, resolution,
conflicts, relativity, bipolarity, attachment, freedom, diversity,
interdependence among variables, individualism and comprehensiveness are
universal in all.
We need to accept these
dimensions as a phenomenon of creation. They will exist. And perhaps further
dimensions also exist depending on the capacity of the brain. Hence, space has
limitless potential of transformation. Having known this and having understood
that these forces need to be nurtured in a way that become beneficial to all,
the next step is to understand that divine potential exists in each one of us
(along with the devil side). This divine quality is to be nurtured, focused,
practiced. This quality is generally concerned with interdependence, the idea
of pattern and recurrence and the ability to remain connected with all. This
can happen only when one understands consciousness and the components of
community (universal connect), feelings and the sharpening of the intellect to
generate compassion.
Hence, it doesn’t matter what
situations come your way and how people treat you – you are just playing with
your own mind. Finally, whatever that causes a barrier between the idea of ‘you’
and consciousness needs to be dissolved. Fear is the root cause (other word is
ignorance). Whatever you see around as objects and concepts have intentions.
These remain the same wherever you go, whatever place you be, whatever position
you are, whichever time you choose. Place, people, time – all are just
variables that give a particular flavor to the tendencies that exist in a human
mind. Age, gender, language, ethinicity, religion are just variables (constructs)
that give particular flavours to a universal tendency of the phenomenon of
coming to a definite form called ‘existence’. In other words, it is man made.
Which also means, that these constructs can be dissolved to reveal a pattern of
connectedness and the qualities of space and time. Whoever says that a
particular position or a person or a place or a society or a situation can be
better than the present set of variables is fooling you. Any situation of
existence is only a trigger to generate thoughts. Thus, ‘situation’ is in fact
neutral. Then what gives it flavor? Our thoughts. Do thoughts exist despite a
situation of space and time – probably no. The moment there is a combination of
space and time, there is existence and therefore, there is the birth of mind. The
conflict arising in the mind is the awareness that thoughts are uncontrollable
and there is an inherent conflict of clinging (worldly security) and of freedom
(to go beyond). This conflict is so intrinsic, that probably it is a
fundamental impulse of creation – from void to form and back to void. If one
sees this conflict just as it is, then the impulse of reacting because of labeling,
differentiating, identifying, clinging will lose its steam. Then, it may become
easier to carry on with our ‘duty’ and focus on good thoughts without any
expectations.
