Variables
Self worth, compulsion to control, the perception of situation and variables are interrelated. This is a discovery one needs to realize.
Any situation is true in terms of its perception by our mind. Meaning that the situation and ‘mind’ are inseparable (or are interconnected) and ‘mind’ represents a form of existence that generates a force of perception. A situation may seem holistic, if our mind can comprehend such; it can seem disconnected, if our mind perceives it so. A situation may have no variables (can appear unchanging) or can have billion variables (thus appearing to change extremely fast).
Thus, perception of variables is a tendency of the mind itself and with variables; we are now talking of scale of Time and scale of Space, in short – the scale of ‘change’. A cosmic scale of space-time indicates a particular perception of variables which change too slow (as compared to the phenomenon of the mind). The quantum scale of space-time indicates billions of variables that change too fast (as compared to the phenomenon of the mind). Hence, perception of manifestation is a phenomenon that includes how one perceives variables and their rate of change!
Perception of variable is an indication of ‘mind’ (or thought or vibration). Hence, if there are no variables, it means manifestation of space-time (of any scale) is not perceived and what is just experienced is a medium of consciousness (that exists prior to its expression in space-time).
In our daily lives, it means that ‘thought’ is a perception of the situation that may be expressed as sequence of variables. These transform or make our present state of mind. All feelings and intellect are informed by the perception of the variables (or feelings and intellect themselves constitute variables OR that the external and internal worlds are a distinction that we create for name sake purposes).
Thus, the question arises, what is the need to control anything? What does this compulsion indicate? If it indicates a deep rooted fear, is it the driver of discovering variables? With more discoveries of variables, situation appears more complex, stressful and it just fuels more insecurity and compelling us to devise more severe controlling mechanisms. To come face to face with a fear is the first step of knowing the intent of actions and the intent of continuing to be engaged with situations. If fear is inevitable part of existence (that we say a human form), then the next series of questions are pertaining to how does one ‘work’ with this reality?
Knowing self, meditation, working without expectations and being compassionate are instruments to work with the tendency of fear and to keep expanding our awareness till we perceive a state of ‘no variables’ (so no judgment or no evaluation or no justification or no compulsion or no competition). Slowing down, being attentive or mindful, being empathetic are also related requirements.
