140522: Shree: Anxiety
There are many things to be shared today.
Central issue is about anxiety. Anxiety accelerates
short term thinking and if there are only 4 steps to attain a particular
output, anxiety increases the same steps to 50 with irrational thoughts, stress
and so on. Anxiety is increased by knowing uncontrollable parameters (that
intellect expects to control because of attachment). The output desired was the
same – but the anxiety complicated the matter. The conclusion is that if the
mind remains calm, then there are hardly any steps to be taken – things happen
with ease and we accept the situation in whatever manner it happens.
Complaints, issues, problems, time crunch, expectations, sequences, priorities
and all are therefore our imaginations – if gone out of control then they lead
to anxiety. Then we feel compelled to defend, evaluate, judge, argue, talk, streamline,
sort out, justify and so on. We feel compelled to talk a lot and sometimes
without any sense and any logic. And eventually lose our calmness and
experience annoyance.
What should cause anxiety? This is a difficult
question. Several factors are there. First is the apparent increase in
variables (imagined) and their linkages and changing scenarios that generate
multiple probabilities. Are these variables real or imagined? This question
should be taken deeper to realize that everything is imagined and hence brought
to “reality” or existence. Anxiety is thus made a reality whereas any other
positive experience could have also taken its place. So mind is the generator
of reality and it can choose what and how to think and feel about existence.
Existence is always there – from consciousness to motion and with motion we are
meaning attachment, perception, mind, body, visibility, change, fear and so on.
The point is to transcend all – even manifestation and to transcend means to
change the quality of perception to realize The One. The One is always there
and so is our perception of motion. We choose what is to be perceived.
Space and time appear to us and that means all
forces and forms appear to us which again means that our vibrations lead to
such perception of manifestation. Why should this happen so? Don’t know the
answer to this question and neither any answer is required. To become
unconditional is in fact to realize the God within oneself beyond everything
and hence becoming eternal. Ego is the biggest hindrance to this realization
and that will keep us engaged, occupied, anxious, defensive, talkative, and
pressurized and so on. Then we will run faster and faster and faster with ever
increasing choices and changes and this will further worsen the problem of
anxiety.
The point is anxiety and any other emotion “depends”
on manifestation, whereas blissfulness does not. Thus relax.
Secondly all things happen for good, they are by
God’s will, they happen only when they should happen and they
have the appropriate impact only when the time is correct – this is not a
logical statement but one coming from realization. We may think whatever we have
to and do whatever we should. Many people by separation think in very different
ways – many of them may not be even aware and prepared for output or
realization but existence always is eternal and God is always there. Things happen
in mysterious ways and the more one becomes relaxed and starts to know this
inspiration, life should probably become organic and blissful.
I falter many times and have a cone of vision, just
like all else. But the thing is to acknowledge this as a limitation and step
back and just observe things as they happen. Then the cone of vision dissolves
and the One is seen behind all actions or thoughts or vibrations or forms or
manifestation. There is always the One.
I am not the doer of anything and neither the
creator or the output. I am not the start or the end of anything. I am not the
mind or the body or the perception – all is merely a construct and changing and
have very temporary value. I should become God and I should be Him. There is no
start point as absolute - only God Is. WE judge all our existence by a “start
point” called life-death situation (vibration-mind-body) and this itself is a
construct and need transcendence. Transcendence means to dissolve attachment to
this start point and know that it is notional. All situations, people,
relationships are notional – they are not absolute/ real and their changes do
not mean anything about ‘us’.
I may think that certain things should happen in
certain ways and at certain period of time in a particular manner and so on – it will happen in other ways nevertheless
and that is the whole point of acceptance. Whatever the effort I take and
whatever I go through as mind-body; things still happen and it was never
about me in the first place. It was never about anything except pure bliss.
Who am “I” anyway?
Secondly, there is no start point to resolve any
aspect of situation. Situation by definition is comprehensive and interrelated
by many variables and to sort out a few and focus on some does not do complete
justice but just displaces issues of motion somewhere else. This means that to
resolve things can become a lifelong engagement and there comes a point where
we start to question how much should be done and why and are we incomplete or a
failure or what the hell is the matter with us? I think this is a fundamental
and necessary step towards liberation – that freedom does not mean
finding solutions but to suspend and dissolve our craze of attachment and to
become God.
Since each of us is very unique in terms of our
constructs, our ways to become God or realize Godliness will become unique to
our journey – something we will need to face uniquely and for which we may not
have the foggiest of ideas and neither any assurance or guarantee of anything
and these questions of guarantees also need to be outgrown eventually. Guarantee
of what? We are always there as God. Become unconditional. Become free. Freedom
is in Being.
Guarantee of good actions is also not expected -
nothing of our identity is expected – as victims or expectations or situations
or anything. Closer home there are so many things that require to be responded –
but would it matter one bit in terms of God or self worth or peace or calmness
or bliss? It will NOT and this is the learning to have. Nothing matters.
Not even space and not even time, for we are beyond these manifestations
and compulsions. We are not what the world makes us do or make us perceive.
This also means that there is a probability of freedom but that again should
NOT be a barometer for expectations.
Bliss is bliss and remains unconditional, absolute,
independent and motionless. It is very real. And what feeling I may have about
this instant is my own doing or creation – I can become anything I practice.
