Contradiction

Life can seem as a kind of contradiction – if analyzed or dissected. Analysis or dissection can uncover several changing variables – that may compel one to control them at whatever costs. More minute the dissection, more variables that change at a rapid rate, thus necessitating even more control! The cycle continuous to a point where one sees that variables, by themselves, depend on the nature of thought! Variables are seen, only if, there is thought! Else, there are no variables in a situation!! What does this mean in our daily experience?

1.       Experience means we are thinking – perceiving and conceiving responses – hence generate thoughts and hence can see variables – which in turn may compel us to “control” them, hence the above cycle.

2.       We are led to a point where each moment of time is sliced to consist of billion variables that remain forever fluid – a very anxious, stressful world.

3.       If ‘we’ create variables, then the question turns towards ‘who’ is this ‘we’? And why do we create variables? This is a question that remains a lifelong journey.

4.       The answer to (3) will start to modify the approach towards the tendency of looking at variables and even creating them.

5.       The above point means that we should realize by our own analysis, that ‘we’ are constructs of a particular phenomenon of space-force-matter. This phenomenon generates a mind (thoughts/impressions/memory/character/space-time perception) and a body. Thought is imagination of our existence, wherein we cling on account of the tendency of consciousness to vibrate and express itself in many ways - such as a typical human form. We vibrate and we perceive situations based on our own nature of thought. We imagine that everything else is different from us and therefore we respond to them (or react) never even once questioning the intent of our own creations.

6.       This should lead us to reconsider our approach. Our identity does not depend on variables and our need to control them. Our identity does not depend on the meaning we construct of this world and what we achieve – since everything boils down to vibration of consciousness. We are only conduits of this ‘play’ that the consciousness has set out for Itself. And through one such conduit (which is ‘us’), the behavior and the nature of consciousness can be realized.

7.       Then comes the importance of forgiveness, gratitude and compassion – which can lead us to consciousness. The realization of point (6) develops an attitude of universal compassion since we no longer choose to identify with any of the forms of manifestation and their constructed effects on our minds. All these were incidental, hence there was no need to take these forms or their perceptions personally!

8.       Hence, one only needs to be engaged or one should keep vibrating to express the tendency of consciousness. It is nothing personal and hence feelings of anger, fear, sadness etc were unwarranted.

9.       Despite knowing this, one may get stressed, confused, annoyed, sad, etc. These feelings will continue to happen. But one must remember that they are waves, so they will come and they will go. We need not cling to them since we are ‘not’ them. What we made of, is something beyond the manifested world. This ‘something’ creates an illusion/ play/ involvement/ commitment/ engagement with life for us. So accept it, embrace it and love it. Whatever has come for you, is from consciousness itself, whatever you do, will be offered to consciousness again.
