Inquiry of Reality
All philosophical discourses have a central inquiry – tendency of manifestation and our inclination to cling to this phenomenon. The human tendency to cling to a phenomenon of birth and death, again arises from the belief in separation – considering our existence as separate from other phenomena. Philosophy is an experience of consciousness which is present everywhere and is the basis of all perceptions of life forms. Other life forms are perceived by us because of our imagination, else there is no separation at all.
What does one mean that consciousness is present everywhere? And if this is the case, how come we don’t see it or sense it? What we are in our present state represents some kind of vibration that is different from the vibration of consciousness. Hence we catch those signals and emit those signals that are allowed by our vibrational state. Since we keep catching and emitting a particular “range” of vibrations, we continue to perceive universe in its present form. If the range of vibrations change, we will perceive forms differently. This is the sum of all philosophical discourses – the notion of reality and how we perceive it.
This requires a lot of self-introspection and decoding – about the components of thought and how they arise, where they arise, how they are sequenced and so on. The current state of thoughts are such, that they receive signals from sense organs and they are then analysed and response is generated. Behind all this mechanism, exists a compulsion to survive and to cling to this phenomenon. This creates a strong impression on our mind/ imagination and we continue to respond in this manner – this leads to a repetition of cycle of life for humans.
Decoding is a process that requires a lot of patience and perseverance. One needs to observe one’s tendency of responding to stimuli and the various causes of emotions; of pleasure and pain. Why do we react and why do we worry so much about the future and harness some kind of guilt about the past? These terms are loaded with huge doses of thoughts. One requires to decode these several components, taking one to more subtle layers of vibrations/ waves that just keep erupting. These subtle layers exist in all life forms or all other phenomena and we then catch these subtle layers. We catch, means our mind becomes more subtle to sense these signals. By further practice, more subtle layers are seen and eventually waves die down to reveal stillness/ silence/ zero vibrations or in other words – consciousness. This stillness is all pervading and if we experience this, the visible forces and matter do not exist at all.
Hence it is the mind that requires to transform and probably dissolve itself to subtle dimensions. Conversely this means that presently, the mind appears very “heavy” and is able to perceive only heavier kinds of waves leading to a particular notion of reality. The exercise or the effort, is to make the mind more subtle and lighter till it just dissolves into consciousness. By being more subtle, it is able to connect or see different phenomena. It no longer clings, it no longer judges, it no longer places any value to anything, it no longer fears, it no longer justifies anything. Hence, clinging, judgment, annoyance and so on represent heavy doses of impressions on the mind. This is a state of existence – of differentiation. The more separate our belief is, the more heavier we think, the more visible is the imprint in terms of matter, the more violence we create on everything around us.
This takes us to another conclusion. That consciousness has two dimensions – formlessness and form producing. Formlessness is eternal, One, having no memory or no vibrations or no waves of any kind. Form represents a vibration, having memory (so perception) and appears as matter and hence possesses a distinct characteristics. All such forms are derivatives of consciousness, their presence being only apparent.
So the parent of all forms is One. Forms are judgemental. The underlying consciousness is not. Being judgemental means one is constrained by a set belief. Being non judgemental means one has seen the consciousness within and without.
So again, why worry or judge anything at all? Why believe that one needs to survive and one needs security? Why take claim for anything, why generate an ego, why harbour a sense of ‘doing’ something? If at all, we are able to perceive all manifestations (including us) as “waves”, then it is only a play of consciousness. In our day to day living, since we don’t even look beyond our immediate self, this indicates how much narrow minded we currently are!
