Circles

Why does one exist? If it is for a purpose then it means there is desire. It means there is vibration and that means there is intent of engagement and there is expectation (perhaps of our attachment to survive as a construct of mind and body phenomenon). Both mind and body are grades of vibrations. These vibrations cause perceptions of space and time or the manner in which changes are perceived and how we tend to remain attached to these changes and how we expect control.

Whatever we express as desire shapes our way of looking at any form and force. The inner vibrations need to be observed and to be changed likewise for better perception – the ideal situation is to become God Himself, without any desire or ego or expectation or evaluation or survival concerns or judgments or any restrictions coming because of formation of wave.

We know this idea or urge to be free and tendency to cling. We cannot express it but we can feel it -as a character of manifestation. We face contradictions at every moment of our existence and we face this urge to perceive based on the demands of our bodies and minds. We think we should do something for having or creating a perfect situation – all this imagination is our choice to remain engaged in motion.

The feeling of rest and bliss is not a property of motion – either of us or of external scenarios. If intellect tries to resolve it, it is bound to encounter a scenario of “circles” – a start point leading to other points and not finding any end point to stop. One can keep going either ways of the line and the line (like a chain) does not seem to end. The line’s character also keeps changing with space and time and represents transformation. So neither is there a bounded definition to space nor to time in order to understand a particular phenomenon. This represents the world of motion/ vibration – change and non resting character of manifestation. The world of circles and a pendulum of one thing leading to another and back, so where is the start point or end point and what is the start point or the end point? No clue to the intellect! This question is applicable to all manifested phenomena – including our own personalities – that nothing is in isolation, nothing rests and everything seems to remain in a fluid state. Thus the expectation of control or peace needs to be down away with.

Why does this happen? It is because of the illusion that is created by “many” or desire. Vibration or desire is our ride with the motion and this continues to create an experience of mind, body, birth, death, intellect, feelings and all constructs. This overall is said to be a human phenomenon. Desire cannot be quenched by any property of manifestation. One will have to outgrow desire or the inclination to cling to motion. It doesn’t make sense to answer why Maya exists and why are we in this state of existence and why do we experience contradictions. I think despite this pointed question (for which there is no intellectual answer), one ought to relax and not let the question define our existence! I am not defined by the intellect, although intellect may be a process to realize the truth. Similarly, I am not defined by feelings either. I may feel sorry for something or guilty for other or feel loss or out of control or feel sad or annoyed or compassionate – but none of these define me or is supposed to be my identity. In other words motion and its result on “me” does not define my divinity in any case. Let Maya be as it is. I have no issues. But Maya is a property through which I keep expressing myself as motion and non motion. Nothing more to it! The only thing that can make one steady is realization of God. I am not the mind or the body and none of those things that vibrations make me perceive. I am none of it!

This means to give up the belief of a perfect condition, or a past or a future or anything that the senses or the body tell you. Give up expectation that comes from individual needs of survival. Give up differentiation or the idea of separateness. Give up worry that just keeps you on your toes, since worry is a sign of motion and motion is not “me”. Give up purpose born out of desire, since that leads to expectations and fruits of actions and we remain engaged.

Know that we are already complete and at peace. Know that nothing defines us and nothing ought to define us. We are the soul, forever at rest and whatever motion we perceive is just an apparent effect of the medium of consciousness. This idea needs to be practiced and has to sink within us.

Shree

I perceive things in a particular manner depending on my attachment to constructs of space, time (or vibration or mind-body). This can either lead me to stress or to realization of Maya – a state of motion and non motion and what does motion do to me. It creates an illusion of “many”, which in fact originates from a state of motionlessness or the One. This motion also takes us away from our nature of One and hence can be said to be a projection of God. God is One, Truth is One, Bliss is One, Existence and knowledge is One and what we perceive is the relative dimension of this Truth.

I need not be ashamed of what I think or do or say to anyone, since I am only some form of temporal existence. Thinking, situations, events, people are of my own making and it is upto me how I wish to get involved in this reality of motion, which means thoughts, feelings, senses, body. When one knows that there is only One, then why fear? There is only “Isness” of existence – motion or non motion. One need not search for why this is the nature of existence - it has to be accepted. In this variety of life, the effort is to remain calm, patient and remain positively engaged. Say to yourself that you are NOT the change, you are NOT the manifestation and you are the One!

There is no need for justification or evaluation or aggression or speed or talking or loudness or expecting change or anything. If we are the wave, then that is bound to change. The silence behind the wave is important to be realized.

Desires of engagement are unending and the more one tries to satisfy them, the more they remain excited since there is no point of manifestation that remains at rest. Happiness or sadness is not a property of manifestation – it is a vibration that develops within us. We vibrate, so we become motion, so we expect, so we experience pain, so we run after constructs that assure happiness and the process continues.

Above things do not necessarily mean that I am able to live ideally as is said in philosophical terms and neither am I required taking guilt for not living up to this idea. I am not answerable to any idea or person or event or situation since all these things do not dictate who I am truly.

The single idea that we imagine is of a body, that it will die, so we would experience enormous pain or some kind of loss. We keep changing bodies and death is only a change from one situation to another dictated by our perceptions or the momentum we have created for ourselves. So summarily whatever we may think we should be doing to lessen the evil or difference – we live in illusion that things would become better. The world is differentiation and that will keep all kinds of forces alive. We need to surrender these forces so they do not act on us or that we do not become those forces. So give everything – your body, mind, thoughts, feelings to God. Become empty of forces of any kind so one becomes the One. I as God have taken the decision to manifest, so I perceive motion. I should now take the decision of renouncing the play, so I become One again.

Certain inquiries

Justification for our imagination or actions has limited application. A person chooses to perceive situations based on what he/she wants to hear – not for understanding the truth. Since we exist as motion, we respond with those characteristics of change, fluidity, fear, control, expectations, and justifications and so on. Do you think that this external perception will change? Not at all! The change is only internal – I should want to transform or become motionless, devoid of any vibrations or ego or desires. The motion we see outside and whatever we add our clinging tendencies to it, are of our own making or choice – there is nothing outside that can give respite or support us or offer rest. The introspection is about motionless state of existence, that all of us have (or which has transformed into motion or motion might have been superimposed on It). In stories or novels or serials or expressions, each one of us expresses based on our perception of reality and each one insists that his/her version is correct! This is Maya or illusion – this need to cling despite knowing that there is no real value to it. I may know the truth, but can I communicate that to others and are others willing to listen or acknowledge or ponder and consider where changes may be required to be done? One should become aware that I am talking to myself; there is no ‘other’ out there! Each thing is a reflection of my own self and beneath the motion of forms and forces, there exists a state of consciousness, which is the only Reality. So I am not what manifestation makes me believe or which makes me as a separate entity. I am not defined by anything and there is absolutely NO start point or end point to what I am. I exist before Time and beyond Time and all things in motion (thoughts and actions) are only a small subset of this reality. It is a mistake to think of our life as the only real life which has a beginning and an end and to live in fear therefore. No amount of trying to perfect a situation dictated by motion can give one the answer of bliss. It is a state of existence – this motion and it goes on for eternity. From one issue to another, from one body to another, from one mind to another, from one form to another, from God to motion and viceversa. And with this state, nothing is constant and there is a perception of “many”. So the question of where from and when and how much or how little is not of much use. We still will continue to experience fear by believing in mind and body or by perceiving through those channels. We believe in motion or vibration and that is the cause of all pain and pleasure.

So essentially we do not do anything by ourselves. We think that we are doing something (or that we are required to do something) as long as the idea of separation is entertained. When we awaken to the idea of Oneness, the purpose of doing anything for the “other” is lost, since the construct of “I” itself is lost or dissolved. This means that “I” as an idea depends on “other”. Similarly, the belief in motion depends on the search for freedom and this is one way of saying that God does exist. For if He had not, then all efforts of struggle, of motion, of feeling incomplete would not have even been constructed or we may not have even been bothered to find answers!! So we as motion are another state of God. We exist as motion, so we construct God as motionless state. WE have superimposed ourselves on Him. We don’t see Him or feel Him, since He is beyond any manifestation. That being understood, when we try to engage ourselves in the world that we know, we should remind ourselves that what we are doing is just beating about the bush – or incidental – only as a process of coming to God. Secondly, nothing is required to be blamed or harboured or clung. No questions are required to be asked about beginning or end. No questions warrant explanation about existence or change or pain or pleasure. No justification, no analysis, no guilt about Time or Space, no expectation from anything based on Time or Space. Why certain things happen and in a particular form and in particular frequencies and in particular intensities – all these are just not required to be entertained at all. Because the question of “why” is a construct that depends on the belief in the individual “form” of manifestation. If the form vanishes (as a vibration), then the question of why should also vanish.

Thinking further, it seems that the genesis of all this inquiry comes in ego/ vibration or our nature to cling to this phenomenon. Thus, if ego or vibration is dissolved, then all such confusion and struggle goes away.  There is no need to say anything to anybody or to justify anything or to defend anything. If thinking is required or action is required, then it is only for the self. We are not for the world or to confirm to anything it says to us because the world is an illusion. So let anything and everything happen to us – no need to complain or demand or expect anything. Let us think, feel and love without any intent of ego – then we will realize what we truly are!

Perception

Every new day in our existence – we impress upon our minds certain things – all because of the nature of the mind itself (or the force or vibrations). This is summarily called – existence or perception of “motion”. In all the experiences we create, there are some that hint at freedom and there are some that hint at bondage or limitations. Since both of these experiences are created in a phenomenon called human being, it follows that both of these exist and can be reinforced depending on where or how one chooses to work on perception.

I write things because we create “knots” in our mind.  These take us away from our absolute nature and we harbor fear or doubt. The knots need to be removed everyday till none are created henceforth. This can be done by dissolving the ego or our attachment to mind-body (vibrations). Purpose or commitment or guilt or imaginations are all our constructs. The underlying reality behind all states of motion is consciousness that takes certain “forms” (because of our perception). The moment “we” are created, so is the Universe and so is God. Imagination and reasoning of God takes place through our human perception. Then we talk of ethics and morality and the ways in which we realize Godliness in us – by dissolving the crude stuff (ego or attachment).

I face this question many times in terms of why I write so much and why I read about God although I may not have realized any experience of Absolute Consciousness. I don’t know and I am not in a hurry to verbalize the reason behind “why”.

If the entire existence is about becoming, then one is only becoming aware of this process of transformation by efforts and trust.

As said by Shankara, Atman cannot be “removed” by reason or feelings or action. It is the Atman that is perceived as the relative knowledge of reason, feelings and action or perhaps these components are just superimposed on Atman, where in fact these do not exist! Whether something transforms or something is superimposed is a question best left unanswered. Both appear correct statements as well as limited by their scope. One can argue both ways but all this talking and expressing and defending do not lead one beyond a certain point. Realize the essence in oneself and the game is understood.

Every day we see variety, we see confusion, we are compelled to respond – all this is motion. Every day we also experience peace and know that all this running around has got limited value since everything is a construct. I don’t think that there is any rest in this pendulum of experiences. At best, we are trying to become a state of non motion for a longer period of time.

Thus, chanting certain words, remembering certain thoughts, feeling, actions, deploying intellect for this purpose are tools we should use to realize this state.

The most powerful thought one can harbor is: whether I realize a state or not, whether I can argue or not, whether I shout or remain silent, whether I work or don’t work – God exists. And whatever we experience, is all because of this phenomenon.

Technology and reliance

One can start anywhere and a philosophical link can be generated out of the situation – perhaps that is what is meant by seeing God – beyond all motion, beyond time and beyond any relative knowledge born out of space and time.

We build a constraint around us – called the mind and body. If we think in terms of body, then we become more constrained; if we think (or cling or imagine or vibrate) through the mind, then we are bounded in other aspects and if there is no vibration at all, then we become consciousness. Thus the basis of all perception is vibration – or a state which can be said to exist or not to exist – a state that is dependent on a force of desire, a state that causes motion and change. Perception defines how we choose to cling to imagination and what we consider as reality. Thought is as much real as any other physical form. In fact, because there is thought, we see forms – else there wouldn’t be any differentiation at all! Is there a start point to all this phenomenon of manifestation? We do not have an answer – there only IS a state of existence – either be in motion or non motion.

The current tendency of knowledge and deployment of AI technology is to cling more and more to desires born out of body and mind. Technology will always remain neutral (just as any manifestation), but we add meaning to it and experience pleasure and pain. My identity so called – is it dependent on a form or any colour or texture or size or speed or AI technology or a devise or anything that the manifestation throws at me?

What has AI given us – at least currently it has just increased speed, displacement, rate of change and created a fragmentary picture and noise. Has AI given us this or have we deployed our mind and body to feel this state of fragmentation? We perceive, then we act and the action itself feeds onto our perception or imagination. The motion is thus set.

I may be motion or non motion – both existences are eternal having no start or end point. In motion there is judgment, differentiation, fear, insecurity, abuse, struggle and so on. I may see things from one perspective, later on that perspective will change. Then I and others may see the same thing in different ways. All this is the character of motion – never at rest and never the same for any other phenomenon.

This should lead us to consider what we are upto really? The control of phenomenon – either myself or the outside world is a ridiculous belief or assumption. Things happen. Do they happen because of me or despite me? The construct of “me” is a limited construct contained in space and time. All things that manifest follow this behavior of Nature – that they will change, they will always be in motion, they will perceive things and they will have to make a choice to take things personally or evolve. All imagination contains above tendencies.

We are born means we experience all above traits. And then we fear because we think we die. Death is a change seen at the level of body and mind.

It would be better if we engage without any ulterior motive; that we understand that freedom is our constitutional dimension of the Soul and the motion is only apparent. We don’t do anything and neither anything is in our imagined control. Whatever happens is from God and the reason one is here and one continues to struggle and learn is also God’s doing.

The best way to see this state of existence is to keep remembering God and generate a feel for It.
