Not of imagination
When someone says something, it is not intended
that I respond or do anything or justify something or become defensive or argue
or save something. The person might or might not expect anything in
return, the person may express certain tendencies, these may be received or
interpreted by us in a different manner urging to act on them, but we need not
be bothered about what anybody thinks or expects (and for that matter, what the
manifestation expects and urges us to do). The background noise that compels us
to act on something needs to be checked. Why this question of acting or getting
involved the moment I perceive sounds, words, smell, intellectual idea,
feelings, forms etc.? What is this compulsion? What is this urge to act, say,
write, read, do?
Compulsion is what we feel at the surface of mind,
vibrations are something that happens deep inside the layers of mind (called
force or even something much finer). These vibrations generate the
materializing forces that compel us to act and perceive motion. This perception
is of three kinds – Satvik, Rajas and Tamas and we tend to imagine, think and
respond based on any of the three tendencies predominant in us or which
continue to define our momentum of force/ mind. I think or vibrate because of
these tendencies. As motion, I am any of these three characters and hence will
think, respond or attract these tendencies as well. I will perceive environment
in that manner. Therefore what is existence after all? That, which vibrates and
causes motion. This motion alters the character of consciousness into mind and
matter. By each level of alteration, the same absolute knowledge gets expressed
as relative knowledge of these tendencies. It has a psychological dimension and
a physical dimension.
Thus, it is a mistake to identify with these
tendencies or to imagine and these tendencies are what we are. It is a mistake
to think of control and to imagine that one is motion and hence separated from
others. There is no you and other in this equation – it is only apparent.
Motion, separation, fear, doubt, imagination, memory, perception fall into the
same umbrella. It is this motion that creates the world; that we perceive; we
think of control and expect returns; we become angry or greedy; we harm others
and so on. It looks terrible. Who are we to do anything? All is God and all
happens by His witness and presence. Our existence as motion is absolutely
immaterial and has only a validity of a wave or some transient form.
Motion is also what it is. No labels and no
judgments – this is what we are, as motion although how much ever incorrect it
may be voiced. It is the truth for us at present. However we need to transcend
this truth and become the Absolute Truth of Emptiness, blissfulness, Oneness,
non motion state. The only way to be that state is to divest all kinds of constructs,
motions, perceptions that we keep expressing. The idea of past, present,
future, perception, existence, form, perfection, other, many, fear, doubt is
all imaginary. We aren’t these constructs, but we are that which is beyond the
world of motion. Let us realize this! Let us remember this ideal and let us
practice this in everything we do. This is not a mumbo-jumbo talk for gaining
some credits or earning some praise or some fashion statement. Far from it! It
is a state of inevitable rise to freedom and the more conscious one is regarding
this requirement, the better is his/her commitment to this state of freedom.
