Place for introspection

250222: Shree Place for introspection

I think the entire idea behind introspecting is keep sensing one's existence which is perceived as fluid, changing and having many dimensions of forms, forces and consciousness. This sensing is a continuous process and motion may inform this perception. It is perfectly ok to feel bewildered, have confusions, serious doubts, attachments, compulsions, urges of performances, expectations and so on - these are vibrations - one of them being reflected as "human being". This entire scope of perception forms the basis of philosophical pursuit and discovering who we are or what does one call this situation of existence?

We think that everything is a "given" and situations are real and we need to deal with them - although this is not the case. To be born as a human being is one way of perceiving existence and although vibrations may mean illusion, they are still real enough to work with them to lead one to consciousness, where there is nothing or no movement or no motion or an unconditional existence. We think, so we have become motion or the medium has the property of creating us in terms of vibrations, mind and body – all mean the same. These form our perception to such an extent that we do not know what is consciousness and we cling to the feeling of attachment or ego or defence. Clinging is a reality for us at present and hence we run or bark or bite or do obnoxious things. And then we add on other layers of security and situations and relationships and defend whatever we do, thinking that we must control whatever we perceive as variables.

In this existence of many, it is not required to take something very personally but consider it only as incidental dimension of being a human being. Things do not happen because of me or that I am required to give any cure. "I" am a construct as a wave or a cloud and nothing more than that and exist in a medium called consciousness.  This medium is not going to go anywhere at all and that should make us feel peaceful. What I say or what you say and what i do and what you do is only incidental aspect of existence and attachment or clinging and that does not define or conclude God in any way. The potential of God is limitless and hence His projection is also unlimited as me or you as Divinity. One may keep talking or writing or running or doing work or express any intent – all these are facets of discovering ourselves and so be it. We have the seed of Divinity but we have lost it, so we become disturbed by changes. In the process, some may harp or bark at one another, some may run and others may not. Some may prefer to hoard money whereas others may just renounce everything; some may keep judging and others may not. We still carry this impression of being incomplete and this is also ok to start with. Any "form" or manifestation or motion that is perceived will keep us in a state of motion or vibrations and make us see "many" that keep changing. The environment of today appears "fragmented" but it is perceived in comparison to how we have been brought up and what we may have read before and that does not mean which is right or wrong at all. Environment may be fast or slow but that too does not mean anything with respect to an appropriate way of existence. Whatever the environment and our way of perceiving it - is very unique to us and hence all books or people or situations are "ideas" for us to work with. They are real as long as they are heard uniquely by us. Our existence itself makes the motion "alive" and "unique" for us and hence all universal or transcendental messages are required to be decoded afresh by us and we need to work our way to it.

Intent of people may be one thing, my intent of hearing will be another and the intent of action and what comes out of it is third and how people receive it is again different. All this is ok.  So everything is in a state of comparison, separated and in binary. This is existence. This may be an illusion, but is a reality for us "to work with" and take us to transcendence. The world cannot give us answers to the feeling of incompleteness - the answer does not lie there. But the world is only a means to an end - which is God. Or the world is another aspect of God.

In short, our existence is divine, unconditional and eternal - either as motion (and forms) or as consciousness and transcendence. Since everything as apparent creation comes from consciousness, it is regarded as the primary state of existence. There is no why to any of this or any definite start point. The start point is only “we” as a start point - going from one thought to another and then to dissolve it altogether to become consciousness. Thought may be immaterial from philosophical point of view, but to realize its illusionary dimension, we are required to take it “on the face of it”. By concentrating at one point, by being calm, by silencing the mind, by the inward pull, by self instructions, by remembering, by being fully unconditional – one hopes to become God.

God is to “fill” every aspect of our dimension from thought to feelings to action – only then It has said to occupy our entire being and we have seen the Soul. We need to make Its presence “alive”. I am bound to read something or say something differently from the rest. All concepts of past or future or situation or people may of course be different for me – which is incidental and inevitable (but not for any comparison of any kind) and need not define my self worth, which is transcendental and eternal. Transcendence for me may mean something different and may cause upheaval, present dilemmas and fear – all is still ok. The effort is of persistence. Why should one do this? There is again, no answer. But sooner or later, one takes this path. I have no answers for many things and I am at a loss to explain many things that happen in very different ways much to my annoyance. But all is still okay since behind everything, there exists God and by His presence, the world gets created and moves. This realization too may not figure when one gets annoyed or one feels miserable – but hold on! When powerful emotions subside, the idea of transcendence is sure to come back and that is when we forgive, forget and love….again. We can forgive anything and we can choose to forget and recall – it is an inherent property of existence.

So start with identifying what is it one does unconditionally? Probably that is the entry point to become God. Unconditional means there is no justification or evaluation for what one does and neither can anyone comment on what one does since the “thing of doing” goes beyond the laws of commenting.
