Shree: Dilemma
Shree: Dilemma
Dilemma is better than impulsive behaviour. dilemma suggests that there maybe more to existence than just perception through mind and body and it therefore seeks answers to conflicting issues of self and the other and change and control and permanence. dilemma also realizes the conflict between impulsive and tempting action verses a considered response offering a long term view and an impersonal judgment.
not all people vouch for this approach because it is at times a torturing journey where the self is always put under a critical lens. people exhibiting these tendencies probably speak less (since the turmoil is within the mind) and emotions cannot be put in words but are to be sorted out internally. it is easier to blurt out emotions or impulses than to hold back, consider the alternatives and then act on some action.
at times it may feel that time slips when it is spent on taking considered decisions and it may also feel that other people get away quite easily as compared to the seriousness with which you consider life to be experienced.
in such times, it would be better to remind oneself NOT to compare one's tendencies and the perceived situations to anybody else's. You have come here as divine expression and you will always be divine regardless of anything and any change and any situation. what are one's challenges are one's challenges (they are self created) and they are to be considered important learning to go beyond. secondly, God is the only absolute truth and all motions, tendencies, potential of manifestation, forms, forces, vibrations, tendencies stem from there.
there is a reason for which you think and act in particular way and there is nothing wrong with it. Also having accepted this, you are also open for any discussion and effort that helps you to expand your mind. If you do just one thing in a day that does not mean that you were idle - you may have thought even more intensely than a person who may have done 1000 little things in the same time.
I feel that quantum and scale does not define one's worth. Worth, in any case, is beyond any manifestation and we may choose either to become excited or full of bliss. Coming to a conclusion of not doing anything for the greatest benefit of mankind is far more important than doing a 1000 things that do not lead us anywhere. It is not a question of small or big or rare or frequently - it is a question of honesty of intent and what that assists us in becoming.
Journey can be anything - it may be small, big, difficult, easy, long, short, heavy, light, straight, curved and many other things. Experiences and situations can be anything. Why bother about them and why be conditioned by them? Why find meaning in everything and why define the self based on those pulls? Why define the course of action based on your perception or impulse or pulls? Why think that you are the mind and body and why not realize the unconditional existence of the Absolute One?
We are above everything else and that is to be realized. So accept anything that comes your way - you never know what lessons and learning and opportunities the moment may hold for you! It is coming from beyond - all of this motion! And the manifestation does not indicate your divinity or your responsibility or your perception. It is just there as a phenomenon.
