Shree: Nearness
021122: Shree: Nearness
Nearness means to become "one" with a "thing" - it may be a situation or a person or an idea. Existence makes this capacity possible and this means that we have a choice as to what we wish to become. Currently for most of 'us' we are nearest to "illusion" or the "idea" of motion or perception or separation or mind and body. Hence that is what we see and feel and think and respond. Hence there is pain and pleasure when things appear to change and we cling to it. The idea of separation from consciousness is endorsed by us.
There is only the One; there is only consciousness - there is no change; no manifestation; no conditions; no forms; no vibrations.
Currently a dream of "many" is generated and an awakening is required. As we come close to God - we take on His qualities of becoming unconditional and blissful.
As an inference - separation is a construct that makes things appear differently for us and by which we continue to respond. The One is absolute and true existence.
Above may still feel as an abstract idea for most of us who are far away from this absolute state of existence. This idea is to be realized and we need to transform. The need of transformation also needs to be felt, else we would not take the effort to embark on this inquiry.
It is a journey - long or short - i do not know. Feelings come and go - that also one has to witness. By witness it is meant that i am not the feelings or i need not identify with feelings - they being a function of vibrations or space and time or manifestation or motion. This is not so simple to realize. We can only hope that God gives us strength to realize the absolute state of existence. Why worry about next instant; why visualize problems; why visualize defense; why visualize forms; why visualize change? "Why" - the purpose cannot be or need not be of fear or control. The purpose of asking why is to realize consciousness.
