Shree: Engagement
and commitment
God is to be
"realized" in all dimensions. This is not a logical
connection that the same form is seen everywhere - intellect will reveal God in
a different way as compared to feelings and as compared to senses and anything
else. And the interface between them will also reveal God. This conversely
means that God is expressed in many ways in different dimensions of perception.
If the "alignment" of these dimensions is achieved, then we
"absolutely feel" God everywhere because what one thinks, feels and
acts - all express the existence of God Himself. And therefore each
person can discover God in his/her own way. From this aspect, there is nothing
to differentiate - the only purpose being to understand who one is.
Obviously one has
to become extremely doubtful and worried about not being able to control
anything or sense anything at all! This is a start point of realization. How
does one realize God? Ask this question to yourself. And then it leads to why
motion gets created and what is the nature of motion and how it gets created?
The doubt we experience is the advantage that humans have to surpass it. We
will never be able to reach Godliness unless we experience extreme amount of
pain, anger, doubt, fear, avoidance, criticism, confusion, fragmentation and
skepticism about the future or the unknown. We will never be able to discover
an approach unless we surrender the compulsion of controlling the change and
the frustration of disappointments in not being able to get any satisfaction in
anything. We will never be able to feel the steadiness amidst motion unless we
allow all kinds of changes and emotions to roll over us and make us drive up
the wall. We will never come to trust goodness unless we understand that
defining a purpose and logic to life has limited results. We will never be able
to become God if our actions are known to cause varied results apart from
whatever we imagine and if we do not accept this fact.
We exist amidst “many
tendencies and forms” and that causes a lot of trouble to us (or so we
believe). The inquiry, if at all we have had enough of the pain, starts to
discover a universal link amongst this variety of events. And then further
along the way, a transformation may happen wherein steadiness of the mind
develops. This is a process – how and where and when and why it materializes is
not known and hence there is this constant engagement that one is required to
do in life, despite any effort to avoid engagement.
Another word for
Existence is engagement. What is it that one chooses to be engaged with and
why? As long as I exist, the motion is felt and I continue to engage with
motion – through intellect, feelings, emotions and actions. Since “I” has a
form (vibrations + force + body); manifestation has a form also.
God is the only
reality where a “form” for existence is NOT required. God only is existing
without any need to manifest or vibrate or move or act. Another word for this
state of being is Absolute Potential. All other things, there is change, attachment
and pain.
We do not even know
what situations trigger what inside us and what internal signals trigger what
situations and their interrelationships! So we do not even know where to begin
and what is to be controlled?! We only know of a window of visibility and a
larger canvas where there is invisibility.
Therefore the question
is - what is it that you want to pursue or be engaged with? For your answer
will tell you what you will become eventually!
Whatever we see, we
harbor those signals. So seeing is becoming a state of existence. We only see
those things for which our mind has become attuned to generate and receive. We will
not see God unless the mind becomes so. So mind is existence or the creator of
reality. As long as forms are seen, there are all sorts of compulsions and
urges and fears and egos and tendencies that are deep down within us. These need
to be cleansed. And an enormous patience and effort is required for the same
and a lot of trust. So one has to be prepared for the journey and commit
oneself to it.
