Shree: Maths

Shree: Maths

Things will be revealed only when time ‘becomes appropriate for our consciousness’. Rest in peace that all is taken care of and all the experiences we have at present are due to the nature of perception we call as being human. Critically if one sees the state of affairs, the inquiry is to realize and be at peace for our own situation of existence. Learning to dwell as a human being in existential reality is important, else we keep doubting and fearing and there is no end to this malaise.

Point is dwelling “in” or dwelling “as” still offers a glimpse of the web – in reality there is no start or end point or any tree having connections. All is a product of consciousness and as vibrations we experience forces and forms and change and connections – either as rhizome or as a tree or sometimes this or sometimes that and whatever is perceived at a moment, one imagines existence in that manner. This is the wavering mind and many times wavering quality is spoken as a limitation and also having the capacity to align and transcend.

Any new thing that is encountered has a seed of change in some way (faster or slower; bigger or smaller; imagination) and it projects a decision to be taken – what do you do about the new thing? And then the relationship of that new thing and the self begins to be made. And perhaps we are saying that the self and the new thing are one and the same. In a way the journey is of removing the identification of self from any thing of change or relationship – which means to be established thoroughly as only a pure Being.

Removal of things cannot happen by force and is disastrous intellectually. The idea is to make change redundant or surpass change of any kind or surpass a vibration – which means to make the mind still. This may look as removal but it means transcendence and herein lies the difference in the approach of how the Western mind sees philosophy as a removal of relationships and the Eastern mind considers philosophy as transcendental process. The western mind may therefore speak of annihilation of everything and / or a reductionist approach and the eastern mind indicates the expansion of the limited mind to engulf all vibrations and become universally connected and to dissolve any fabricated distinction of you and me. This approach gives “bliss”. However there is still confusion if the eastern mind means “additions” of everything or “subtractions” of all unwanted things and perhaps many sub strands indicate such processes. But the agreement is that all strands of thought still cannot say with certainty what transcendence should be but the realization is known – to become the One. Hence it does not even say to take a position. And hence in a true sense it is a discovery as any form ought to transcend its own imposed barriers by self practice.

From the view point of philosophy (or the experience of philosophy), the nature of existence is one of change, wherein forms come and go (or they get created out of One absolute medium). Thus our own journey is not a default thing of a human being that perceives forms in absolute manner, but it ought to lead to evolution of perception itself to dissolve the body + mind vibrations. Movement is a function of perception/ vibration. When this realization is known, then the way of seeing things differs. Change may no longer bother us and we do not so much harp about a start point – for the issue of start and a sequence is a matter of motion – not of consciousness.

All great people regardless of any discipline related to action or feelings or intellect realize the source of all phenomena. To go “back” to the source or the “origin” means to realize ground “zero” wherein potential or pure inspiration exists. What triggers this journey and why people undertake this journey depends on their burning desire.

In this search, architecturally I can name Hassan Fathy, Antonio Gaudi, Louis Kahn, Tadao Ando….

Louis Khan says that all architecture should generate a mood of learning + meeting + being and this maybe his way of transcending contexts. What process makes one transcend contexts is important to consider.

Finally there is no maths here or logic here in a limited sense of the word. All things that get aligned to transcend may mean logic or maths. Therefore “maths” is unique to a person! It cannot be repeated and it cannot be translated and it cannot be shared! To each his own maths!
