Shree: Ocean

Despite whatever we do, there is a subtle level of ego or the idea of separation that is embedded deep within us. The output of this existence of ego or vibrations is that we perceive life of forms that come and go, remain interdependent on us and they change. Past is imagination and so is future – but what about the “present”? If past and future are imaginations, then the present is also an imagination itself – a construct that changes and vibrates and generates forms. The reality or existence of life or of present or of forms is a direct expression of our state of vibrations (or state of our existence). The control of external events or situations (or more appropriately our response or intent of our thoughts on situations) is the key factor in our vibration.

Control is a neutral word – is it for ego or for transcendence is the key. All vibrations – are they for ego enhancement or dissolution of ego and hence transcendence?

And how does one even make such a choice?! This is a very interesting question, for which there is no logical answer but is based completely on trust. There is an inheritance of wisdom which suggests that ego believes in separation Or illusion and that is the lens with which everything else is defined. Our birth is also an aspect of ego, else we wouldn’t have been born and there are countless subtle factors and previous momentum that combine to create mind and body. Hence to be born and to die represents a state of our existence – perhaps ego being the chief dimension. Now if this dimension vanishes, then our imagination or memory or perception or existence will change.

Yet again, ego is a loaded term. When one refers that ego should vanish, it is not that simple since the journey will reveal that it will make one consider forces, relationships, situations, time, space, vibrations, past lives and so on. Hence it is a continuous effort of perseverance, trust and patience.

Fundamentally it is in realizing the nature and depth of vibrations and going back to the Source – or becoming the Source. In this understanding, we mistake a vibration as something separated or as connected with things and we are again in a loop. In the journey of going deeper in depth, the web will reveal itself in different ways and the issue is about observation and silencing the web and not in fixing it, for what is there to fix?! How can imagination or vibration or illusion be ‘fixed’? It is a phenomenon of Existence and it requires transcendence or silencing the vibrations. Silencing is a conscious process, there is no condition or purpose or output or a fruit or an expectation for the same. One either awakens to the need of silence or does not.

This nature of silencing will be unique to an individual and the output of which is same for any individual life form – being the One. Returning to the Source from many paths or gateways is the symbolic process – rivers going back to the ocean. Rivers have their own pathways and natures but the ocean is always the same and the One. Every year there is evaporation (invisible vibration from consciousness), clouds and winds are formed (force), it rains to form rivers and dense vegetation (forms) and the rivers meet the ocean again (dissolution of forms). This is an eternal cycle - there is absolutely no change in the ocean and neither it vanishes or gets tainted by any addition or subtraction. But it creates an event called the monsoon (life).
