size and perception
The
perception of the world around us depends on the size or scale of our
manifestation. We see things as ‘solid objects’ – mountains, river, trees and
sand etc. however, solidity is relative. Dive deep into the solid objects (or
be as small as the sub atomic particles and what you see is just particle-wave
duality – constantly interchanging and the surrounding sub atomic particles
subjected to forces. These forces, that act on the ‘space’ create some
phenomenon as a particle and wave. If we come back to our scale of existence,
we don’t ‘see’ the quantum world – the same world is perceived as a solid
object. Cosmos is also seen as objects or separate phenomena of gravitational
force, matter and space spread in wide regions of cosmos. Time seems infinitely
large, distances seem extremely large and matter sizes are unimaginably large.
However,
if we become cosmic in size, what we will begin to see is just like substance
spread across space fabric. This space fabric is acted upon by the force of
gravity (again spread across the space fabric) generating matter in the form of
stars, galaxies, planets and so on. This matter – forever changing into dust
again, is subjected to the impact of force. Force increases, space warps, a
star collapses to form black hole. Force increases, dust becomes hot, molecules
condense, nuclear reaction takes place and matter is born. So, what was first –
space, force acting on it or molecules to create matter? Can one exist without
the other? Can space exist without force and can matter be formed without
force? Thus, space is an entity that continuously transforms into matter by
getting acted by Force.
In
either scales - quantum or cosmic – we
see the same tendency of space-force-matter playing. We don’t perceive it that
way in our day to day existence on account of our size!
Hence,
what we see as objects, forces, space, time and effects of causation is
relative.
The
above realization is possible only because of our capacity of the brain – or
the power of the intellect to keep refining and expanding the power of
imagination.
The
internal world can be understood as displaying the same tendency, where the
consciousness is acted by force/ vibration of ‘thought’ (formed from the
mechanism of nerve impulses) to give rise to action and a product. The
imagination of the product again keeps changing till it is perceived again as
pure void/ consciousness. We cling to thought – whereas we need to ride on it.
The idea of birth, meaning and death is a perennial phenomenon. It will
continue to exist forever.
