Subject
A subject does not determine our identity. And so is the case with any component or point of manifestation. In fact, manifestation is a kind of perception that we have ourselves created for us. So, our perceived identity involves complete picture of manifestation itself. This doesn’t mean that one is required to accept or reject anything about manifestation. What tools we apply for ourselves results in our perception towards manifestation (including we). In that perspective, there is no difference between how situations or people or life forms appear to us and what we think about ourselves.
We “create” subjects out of space (Nimitta). The impulse for this is force or desire or compulsion or tendency. The impulse for this is the property of consciousness to keep vibrating to create force and matter. Does this mean that we exist because there are set of forces and matter? Does this make this phenomenon real or perpetual or a make believe world? There is no answer to this question. There is only Existence – and that too in “different” states - -that state one may refer to as zero movement (Consciousness) or force or matter. Are these different or one and the same or are they linked or interconvertible? Again, there is no definite answer to this riddle and that’s what it is – a fluid changing state.
I like to currently believe that there are vibrations. Any thought, any action is equivalent to a vibration. Desire is a vibration forcing smaller units of waves to combine to create a continuous train of thoughts and therefore generation of response or subjects or situations or manifestations or forms. Having no desire may not lead to any manifestation - not even me. So desire is like a seed that spouts to make a tree and bear fruits. These fruits have again countless seeds (desires) that fall down on the ground and the cycle continues. So there is no break point, start point or an end point here. Each one leads to the other and one can’t say if the seed is an independent thing as compared to leaves as compared to fruit. They may be apparently different viewed from the stand point of “difference” as an impulse of perception. They aren’t separate (or don’t even exist) from the stand point of consciousness. So consciousness dissolves or “resolves” apparently distinct entities into One. This is a state of permanent Bliss since it doesn’t depend on anything or on any abstraction or on any concept or on anything or on any motion. Hence It IS.
Wherever there is dependence (which is the nature of manifestation), there is change, motion, memory, intent, engagement, cause and effect, sorrow and pain. And knowing this, whatever action or thoughts and words are created – they too will cause billion perceptions and responses in people or other life forms. Whatever action takes place here causes billion effects. Should that mean anything to us? This should make the idea of “control” ridiculous.
We, thus, are like the sprouted seeds that keep growing tress and bearing fruits and keep planting more of these. There is no end to this cycle since that is the “nature” of vibrations – it will never stop to satisfy anything. There needs to be a realization of this tendency which is a dimension of consciousness. Only then the mind becomes centred and focussed and can manifest itself in “free will” not bounded by the fruits of action. This is very real, as an idea, practice and output. The “will” doesn’t remain personal – it Becomes.
