The instrument

 

Change. Fluidity. Vibration. Oscillation – these are the hallmarks of consciousness. I am consciousness, so I will change, vibrate and remain fluid as an expression of consciousness – all phenomena tend to be so. Consciousness is a unit. Consciousness is motionless and beyond manifestation of space and time. Vibration in consciousness gets projected as space-time phenomenon out of which, all things are seen as Name and Form (perception). There is change by this tendency. I change, my thoughts change, my body changes. I perceive good and evil, I perceive the impacts of changing forces. I perceive physical and mental motion. Both space and time are fluid. A space is perceived in billion ways by billion manifestations of forms at the same time. The same form perceives the same space in billion ways as time changes. Time changes, physical motion changes, perception changes. The condensation is all about oscillation or vibration. This creates the phenomenon that we say as the world. The world appears true since we continue to respond to Laws of Nature. I don’t understand change, so I fear since I want to control change. This can’t happen. The need for control comes from desire (incompleteness/ insecurity) and the craze for control fuels more desire and one gets trapped in the set momentum. Let us understand that we represent a “force” of vibration and what we do defines the Nature of vibration. One needs perception or needs to see or feel the force and not the physical form, only then there is some hope of dealing with force.

Radio can be seen as an example of vibration. Each station of radio catches certain vibrations or signals. Only then we are able to receive and hear what is getting broadcasted through that station. There is a certain event that happens at a particular space and time, it gets converted into another form of energy (waves), it gets received by radio and gets reconverted into sound waves, which we hear. Depending on frequency of that station, certain signals are “caught” and expressed.

Similar is the case with any phenomenon. A phenomenon (such as a human being) represents a station or a frequency that catches same signals. I remain human because of the fact that I keep perceiving existence from this frequency. Whatever human means, is what I tend to do and I see and interact likewise with the Universe based on this perception. The Universe appears to me from the perspective (frequency/ vibration) as a human being. Suppose there are waves of consciousness – I however catch a particular nature of signals that define my way of looking at manifestation. An ant will do it in a different way and so will the Sun or the Moon. Each form is a signal that perceives consciousness in different ways. Although consciousness as an absolute reality is One, is “appears” different based on one’s frequency of form of perception. This is what a human being is acutely aware of – that of perception or of change or of relativity or of motion.

To go to consciousness is to be detached from the radio or our specific vibration/ motion/ perception. So our body and mind are only instruments of perception – of receiving and responding. The perception makes the whole existence very real, as we know it. Change the instrument, the reality changes. Have no instrument, then there is no reality but only Potential!
