Becoming
260122: Shree
God is to be remembered every second of one’s life
– through thoughts, words, deeds and expressions. Remembering God means
multiple things. Let us see a few of them:
1)
Decision: Our mind should decide that Godliness or consciousness is
the ultimate truth - manifestations are apparent and of one’s own
creations/ constructs. By deciding on our focus, we “create” a reality. In any
case, we are already focusing on something at every instant; we
are already in a state of “becoming something”. Currently we focus on motion -
an output of vibrations and hence we experience situations and change and we
fear. We have created a changing reality of forces and forms; we perceive them;
we vibrate; we think; we construct a past and future….we perceive change and we
cling to the same. The “clinging” is on account of vibrations. Why this
phenomenon is in this manner cannot be answered. No control is expected here.
It is only to be accepted as a situation. By acceptance the decision to become
God takes a form and we start to subsequently pursue that path.
2)
Unconditional: Generally we think that purpose should be created for our
actions. These depend on the perception of causes of events and their effects. This
means that we are remaining conditional in our actions. The treatment we give
to circumstances varies with space and time. This results in our increased
involvement with motion and we remain fearful and anxious. The reverse is to be
done. Become unconditional – feel that we are not the cause of anything neither
any credit nor discredit belongs to us. We do not “belong” to motion, since our
true nature is NOT motion, but stillness. We do not work for any personal
intent neither any changes mean anything personal to “me”. We do not create
anything and neither are we responsible for anything. We need not take guilt or be angry by
anything. All is by God’s presence and all changes and transformations happen
by Him or by consciousness. All is apparent motion and our constructs are also
apparent too. So whatever we do, think, act is not outside the purview of God.
Godliness is experienced by becoming unconditional and dissolving our vibrations
completely. Another word for that is love or surrender of the individual will. It
is to dissolve the limited nature of mind that clings to thought and body.
3)
Self worth – It is not dependent on motion. What I do, where I go, what I
say, what I think and what perceptions make me do and how others respond has
got nothing to do with the soul (the innermost dimension). Inner and outer are
just symbolic terms used to indicate “layers” of existence – body being the most
obvious, then perceiving only the forces and finally perceiving the soul. Perception
therefore means all these existences that are present in the medium.
4)
Thinking – I imagine, and imagination means focusing and bringing something
to existence and becoming that existence. Thus, “I”, mind, body, perception,
situations are all dimensions of existence that is called as motion or
vibrations. Vibrations dissolve, so everything that I perceive and cling to can
also dissolve. They dissolve into consciousness - so It is the only absolute
medium that exists. Everything else is only apparent and must dissolve. SO
there is no question of my existence and what I expect and what I am entitled
to get. One gets what one imagines because imagination and existence cannot be
separated – they are one and the same.
