up to us
210122: Shree
It is up to us to what extent we allow us to be
dragged into worldly affairs. Worldly affairs are the constructs of inner
vibrations through which we remain in motion, we perceive space-time and we
perceive change. With this comes fear and expectations of control and also
attachment. When I am saying this, it is a phenomenon that happens in
consciousness – like a magnet that attracts certain situations. There is a
magnet, hence there is a needle or iron that gets attracted by this force, by
which both the character of magnet and the needle become known. So, the magnet
(form), iron(form) and the force of attraction are interdependent. All this is
a play of force and form happening in the world of motion. They are perceived
differently and hence there are effects and causes. We get affected since
we treat our identities or existences
different from the rest. This difference makes us or keeps us engaged with the hope of final resting place, but
none exists here.
The final resting place of course exists – in non
motion or in transcendence of motion. In other words to realize the existence
of soul and that everything is in fact only one soul which is projected as
force and form apparently, when seen from the lens of motion!
Again this creates the question of the nature of
engagement required. It is up to us. I may believe that I am responsible for
everything and I find no peace. I may
realize that responsibility was only an imagination coming from individual existence
and hence a soul exists independent of anything and all talks of
responsibilities do not hold much weight. This requires review of our thoughts
and actions. Are we doing something for running or for avoiding or because of
our purposes or intents? Then it is going to keep us engaged. Are we doing
something to realize the soul in us? Then there will be peace by this
realization.
