Shree: Inward journey
Shree: Inward journey
Whatever that generates the
‘form’ we exist in the medium called “whatever”. Things come into being (or
motion) for some time, change, remain conditional or contextual, perceive,
dissolve and this cycle continues. That “thing” which creates these cycles is
called as Absolute Potential and is only One medium. And it is the same medium
that creates ‘me’ and hence the world of forms for me.
Memory, as we come to associate
with, is what gets remembered or projected or imagined by vibrations. These
vibrations are the potential of becoming that are contained in the medium
itself. Thus memory can extend to a moment to several lives to forms to
vibrations. We think through memory and here I am referring memory as becoming
or imagination or a construct. Hence if mind is the tool of memory generation,
then it depends on the nature of mind what sort of memory is created and what
sort of imagination of life takes place?! Therefore, mind is all about
imagination or vibrations. “I perceive a thing” is a loaded statement that
means the self, the act of perception or a relation and the thing as I perceive
it and how it perceives me and in effect what is the cosmic position that makes
me perceive the thing in that manner! Therefore, generally, our perception is
made of so many factors and signals that we treat it very superficially most of
the times. And hence the problem of fear and control and loops and dilemma.
Can we look through
what we perceive? This requires some training or disciplining the mind. And
this is called setting the process of inward journey. No easy task and not even
logical or even predictable or even purposeful. In Marathi it starts with प्रत्याहार then goes to धारण
then becomes ध्यान finally leading to समाधी.
How does one do it? It can be through work or through sound or through thought
or through breath. The basis of this is concentration. Concentrate on any one
dimension till it becomes steady and by making that dimension steady, the
entire mind becomes steady.
If anyone wants to
encounter what does it mean to be God, then one is referring to this process of
becoming.
Hari Om.
