Shree: Mirage
Shree: Mirage
One can choose to
focus on external moments of now and history and linkages. Linkages may be
linear or lateral. All is imagination and this imagination starts with the self
or existence. Thus there is another dimension of understanding existence, which
is the inner world of vibrations, thoughts or forces leading to forms. The laws
of inner world are what inform the perception of the outer world.
In fact there is no clear distinction of outer and inner worlds – each is only
a state of the mind and what it prefers to catch or cling to. Outer or inner -
these words are the mind itself and hence a construct created by the mind. The
construct again represents a changing momentum of vibrations having connections
from subtle intangible layers to outer tangible layers. We say them as visual
or perceivable and something that is not visual. Who said that the visual is
the only reality?! And who knows where the visual is coming from and how?! Who
knows where the visual will go one day and what happens to it?! Who knows what
visual all forms create?
Thus, we are
referring to One medium who does it all (ज्ञानमय).
They say that objects or situations that are perceived (and anything apart from
consciousness) is like a mirage – it seems to be there but can we really touch
it or catch it? They seem to be there, although they aren’t. This is what keeps
us engaged. And if the purpose of engagement is to be decided, then it is to
clear off the mirage and see the Truth as it should be realized. All other
things (about our imagination and situations and people and words and actions
and feelings and so on) are completely nonsense as far as realizing the Truth
are concerned. Yet that does not mean that illusion can be junked all of a
sudden. There is a process of acceptance, engagement, evolution, patience,
empathy, analysis, courage that is required to be deployed. This process leads
to clearing the mind by its cobwebs.
