Shree: Presence of the Past
Shree: Presence of the Past
In what way does subtleness
affects sequences and visibility is beyond current
intellect’s potential. This is to be accepted with full faith.
What a nice thing if one
remembers values of connection, silence, tranquility, movement, climate, life
forms….that can guide one eternally to create anything! Of course, creation
starts with God (as nature of His Being); we can contribute to harness
tranquility.
I am not so particular about
cleanliness and systems – they may mean suppresion of variety, absolute
control, strong hierarchy, and barrenness of the mind and disrespect for memory
or anything of the past.
I am only suggesting here what
conditions and peceptions one has about one’s own environment and the answer to
this may lie in deep recesses of civilizations from myth, traditions, culture
and what that reflects as actions, activites, art and architecture. If one
‘sees’ a temple, one is sure that the origin of this building type is rooted
maybe even in prehistoric times and that is one way in which the Past talks to
us or makes Its presence relevant today. The cave paintings for example, done
in 8000 BCE (Bhimbetka) can suggest how we seem to have arrived ‘now’.
So it all depends on how is this
‘I’ perceived and what is the role of memory in this? Is ‘I’ always there as
past-present-future or is it only tied with present time?
