Shree: Diversity

 

Existence becomes in motion – as diversity. The same truth of being gets manifested as related and interconnected diverse forces and forms. This is obvious, so no matter how much ever a form may appear different from you, both are products of the same truth that “compliment” eachother and need not be seen as competing with one another.

That is the point. We believe that an answer to something or a solution can be permanent and a uniform solution is applicable for all – that goes against the basic rules of existence. There is no standard answer to a quality of life in terms of any field or system, although there are as many approaches to realize quality as there are people.

Many attempts have been incorporated by developed nations to bring a single worldview onto people – with disastrous consequences which they would not admit. At the forefront is the belief in the harmful cocktail of rationality, logic, technology, progress, individuality “at any cost”. This will not work. And the failure to recognize this aspect is our failure to understand how life behaves.

Individuality has costs us built environment, erosion of cultural values, public spaces, increased bureaucratic control, apathy of people, weird sense of individuality and loneliness and increased surveillance among other things and exploitation of all life forms (including humans).

To work efficiently means to acknowledge diversity, not to erase it and and not to confirm to only one point of view.
