Start Point

I have always been concerned where to ‘start’? The starting point which affects causes and effects of everything else. One point that can set things right and henceforth all things become perfect!
Its not always so crystal clear – the remedy to all problems. That’s because we are not just a body, or the mind but consciousness that generates a billion kinds of thoughts leading to attachment with the manifested world. Consciousness – beyond the parameters of space and time – compelling Itself to become a Form of existence and again having conceived Itself as a Form (having Space-Time dimensions) going back to Its Formless nature. This process keeps on happening. If this is the case - as a ‘Tendency’ of consciousness, where is the answer to the question of ‘starting point’? No matter how much one tries to go in the Past or tries to project in the Future, the nature of tendency will be perpetually the same. Patterns may be understood, intents may be understood, probabilities may be understood and that ‘we’ are a part of patterns may also be realized. Maybe the Indian way of referring this is known as ‘Bhog’ (I read it as a recurring ‘Pattern’).
This tendency is seen in a different perspective in quantum mechanics. Herein, at a sub atomic level, a ‘particle’ behaves as a ‘wave’ sometimes and vice versa. Both aspects of manifestation and formlessness are present at the same time in any phenomenon. The interchangeability of particle to wave is ‘seen’ almost instantaneously (as if the boundaries of existential form and formlessness are extremely thin or malleable) and these boundaries become more stable with the change of scale of events. Even so, this interchangeability as a basic aspect of whatever is manifested is prevalent in all. At every instant such interchanges between form and formlessness is happening at different scales and at different rates. It is happening with our body and mind too. On closer introspection, the mind appears more fluid and may display greater tendency to reach the consciousness than the grosser body. Despite this, the mind also needs to put in effort and realize its own nature and its constituents. Known techniques are Raj Yog, meditation, Karma Yog (belief in action/ engagement), Bhakti Yog (Understanding universal Feelings), Dnyaan Yog (Knowledge of the Self). I have started to feel that the basis of all such techniques is the ability to observe the phenomenon of thoughts without getting entangled by them. Thus, we remain engaged in action without placing any personal value to it.
Decoding and synthesizing represent the two sides of dissolution and creation respectively. Just as generation of Form/ Intent is necessary, so as its transformation to something else is necessary.
Hence, can something be judged in an absolute sense? Can 100% perfection possible? When something is said with deafening confidence and arrogance, is that really a comprehensive truth to be agreed to? When someone justifies one’s actions over a situation, is that acceptable? Can someone’s actions be scrutinized to the minutest of details? Is that even required? What is authentic in one’s actions? When someone acts or says something, have we really understood it completely, have we really listened? Therefore “trust” in the tendency to remain fluid and keep changing is required for peaceful feeling. We, as an existential phenomenon, are forever changing - in thoughts, actions, bodies. We are immersed in the ocean of thoughts which we use it as a tool to cling to life. The clinging-non clinging tendency as external events (birth and death) and internal events (as believing to do something and leaving it for something else) are to be seen in a perspective of acceptance and compassion.
