Unconditional
281221: Shree
Existence means attachment. This happens on account
of perception. Perception is because of “vibrations” - summarily felt as mind
and body. Vibrations exist at various scales from most subtle to the grossest or
heaviest, where matter is perceived. All these vibrations generate a momentum
of changing thoughts, changing perceptions, impressions, character,
differentiation, the need to cling or assert an identity, relativity,
space-time, cause-effects, and so on. What is perceived as difference of forces
and forms is an illusion of sorts formed by vibrations or desires that form
each one of us as “waves” in the ocean.
The clinging is natural and so is the recollection
of freedom and hence the struggle. The process of struggle to arrive at a state
of freedom is unique for each individual but there remains a general idea of
what should be the outcome of the process undertaken. We want freedom from
being conditional – an attribute of motion. All our wants, desires, approaches,
intents, expectations, feelings and deployment of all faculties of mind are
dependent on motion. Motion for us (as
humans) means attachment, many or fear or insecurity. The answer to fear does
not lie in being attached with motion. Motion will generate fear if considered
real. Anything that is conceived will generate motion as its result or in other
words motion is the medium for conception. Thus from this
perspective, we are the creators of our own existence and what we do, how we
do, why we do…all those things.
This fact almost all the times is forgotten and we
do not know why we have come here! But we are vibrations that much is certain
and these vibrations create all the struggles of existence that we experience.
We think we are needed here and there, we should be doing this or that, we
should be acquiring knowledge and all this stuff, but in fact we have just
forgotten that we are fundamentally divine. The process is of removing the
layers of perception and these assumptions.
Another word for this removal is being
unconditional in our expressions. There need not be any conditions for
deploying intellect or love or action; there need not be any motive born from
ego/ attachment/ vibration. By being unconditional, one becomes desireless
eventually.
If we are able to reach this state of expression,
then we can become God.
