Shree: Have Faith

Existence only is. Existence is
perceived as a state of mind – either of forms or of the One. The forms are
temporarily created and dissolved as a potential of existence and these depend
on the nature of vibrations to become something. This something depends on
everything else and does not have any independent or absolute existence.
Nothing in motion ever has any permanent or absolute existence and hence is
subjected to the behavior of space and time. Space and time are one and the
same and ever changing and interdependent. They are also a form of expression
of consciousness and as we have feelings, so do space and time.
As perception we are in a loop of
thoughts generated and attached by us through vibrations. As long as there is a
hint of attachment or of individualness or of ego or of mind or body, there is
some idea of motion in space and time and our expectation and self talk
persists. By analyzing we may over think and we may defend our position till
the “right” moment comes or till the “right” action is taken and so on. As
intellect anything can be regarded as a start point; any sequence can be
generated; any defense can be undertaken; any justification can be given.
Retrospection itself can be seen as a defense at times and the continuous self
talk may also be a defense against action.
It can be said that if there is
ego, we tend to perceive that motion is always against you. Perhaps that is the
ego’s way to sustain itself or always be in struggle. The fundamental struggle
is with the self and no matter how much ever the sequence is known or
predicted, what is in store as situations or experiences cannot get dismissed
or suppressed or ignored or skipped. It maybe perhaps learning sent from God
and we need to spend all the momentum (of past impressions, present
impressions, future pulls) till we become God. Swami Vivekananda says that it
is the constitutional right of the Soul to realize itself and just as Existence
is or light is, so is the reality of the Soul that will be discovered or
realized one day. What situations or time or space makes one realize this – is only
to be trusted to God and self effort.
Any moment can be perceived as
anything – there is no fixed definition in motion – it all depends on how one
thinks about the same. Behind all actions and concepts and ideas and feelings,
exist only the One whose Will works. As motion, we think very linearly or
logically and that is too narrow a lens that gives rise to pain. Pain, in
itself is not bad – it is inevitable because of change and how we cling to it.
It is required for us to learn something from this response of experiencing
pain again and again. What words matter, what feelings matter also cannot be
predicted or planned – people open up only when situations become so and we
think that by saying these words or doing that, things happened. All is by God
and in what way things materialize is magic. Leave it to God and do your job of
putting absolute trust and faith on God.
As we move ahead in life, we may
hear and ourselves perceive pain and fear and guilt and incompleteness. I feel
it many times and despite thinking about how it could be corrected or deflected,
I still experience these difficult feelings – inexpressible many times and unexplainable
many times and realizing that this is all a “loop”. Can this be avoidable? The question
is – why to avoid like a problem? It is to be accepted as a human experience and
to make ourselves steady. Secondly no amount of analysis makes a situation of
present or future “perfect”. It is an illusion of the ego because of
separation. Thirdly what goes on as motion, we need not have any control and
neither are we answerable for the same, except our mindscape.
Only God is. Any compulsions or
desires that are felt, are misplaced, although that is a learning one needs to
have. It takes time – listen to
everything, be steady in all, be still, be calm, give love and be happy. Analysis
and apprehension (past and future) are only imaginations – what happens will happen
and what will come also shall go. Have faith.
Hari Om.
