Shree: Memory
Shree: Memory
Memory. Memory is based on
vibrations or feeling of Existence as recorded by mind and body. In that sense,
it is changeable and a construct. Since we perceive separation of self from
other, there is a place for memory to sustain this belief. Depending on how one
perceives the idea of “self” – the nature of memory or its constituents or
parts or sequences or rate of change differs. As long as we are in motion from
visible to vibrations, memory of existence will continue to exist. This also
means that memory of past lives have also been recorded in our mental DNA and
which inform our present perception. The inquiry is what is the memory of God?
Memory is by vibrations (thoughts, feelings, decisions and actions). If this is
changed to non motion – then that means God. Thus memory itself has to be
transcended (a product of vibrations or of mind and body). If vibrations become
still, there are no impressions, which means there is no memory, which means
there is no attachment or a separate identity, which means all forces and forms
do not seem to exist or are not recorded anywhere. So existence in motion,
seems to record some forces and forms – else they are not there.
Memory also means our attachment
to certain issues constructed by us – they may mean relationships or objects or
people or past or future or work or career or money or anything that forms a
relation. The question – what is the trigger behind this attachment? Desires.
Why are those created? We have no answer, for had we known the answer, we would
have not even been vibrating and perceiving life from human perspective! When I
listen to my father, I realize that he is accessing the memory of his cherished
moments of earlier life, his relationship, his perspectives of looking at life,
me, his son, his wife, his concern for control, his compulsion to control, his
belief in controlling in a given process, his expectations, his fears of
forgetting and hence the urge to “set things” straight and many other subtle
things. Did he say all this to me? No. this is about realization of things
unsaid.
A human perception includes all
this nebulous thinking and any kind of thought seems real enough to initiate an
action of some kind. I too may also be entangled in some kind of thoughts, and
some of them are so subtle that it will take effort to access them. So we
operate based on vibrations. Life, relationships, objects, forces, forms are a
crafted story of separation and they have temporary value and it should be
realized why do we hang on or cling on and respond to “fear” that dwells within
this story of change? And who is this “we”?
So it is about human perception
of motion and identity or life. One can look at this as a problem to be solved,
but can it be solved and is it a problem to be viewed or a mystery to be
accepted?
All things, just as us, have a
place here to exist and change and dissolve after a finite time. This is so, because
their survival and our survival are one and the same. What action I perceive
and undertake the effect is something I too will have to bear. So I do not
claim any line of fixed action and there are million ways to perceive things as
much as there are million people here on earth.
It is essentially One medium
expressing Itself through many minds. No matter how much change we try to talk
people out of it, we cling very hard to constructs at various levels. When does
transformation and “letting go” happen? Only when you become ready for the
process. When one let’s go off motion, God reveals.
