Shree: Value
080922: Shree: Value
Compartments do not lead to a
balance of life. By knowing “more stuff” at “greater speed” does not bestow
calmness of spirit. In general, we should acknowledge that the problem is with
us identifying with vibrations that create forces and forms – all this is a
form of existence. We cannot sit idle and we keep craving for more since we
continue to feel insecure and impermanent. This means more reading, more
writing, more travelling, more meeting, more desires, more action…more and more
at infinity!
Is there a limit to all this? By
knowing something “else” or something”different” – does that (or would that)
really solve a problem? Is there a problem in the first place? And what is the
nature of the problem we are dealing with? This is a fundamental inquiry, since
this question tries to look inward and understand what is happening deep within
and how does that shape our perception?
Outward changes and
identification with these are aspects of ego or perception of space and time or
of many or of change or of interdependence. There is just the One motionless
medium that appears (or is made visible) as “many” and attachments and egos and
clinging and many other things.
How would knowing more of motion
can the riddle be solved or put to rest? It cannot, since whatever we may know
about – is dependent on the same nature of vibrations so limits of knowing are
not enough (and neither can they be bound by external intake). One will always
feel doing something, solving something, defending something, going someplace,
projecting past or future, writing something, reading something, expressing something
and so on. This is our current tendency or a state of existence of the mind.
Remember that none of visibility
we owe anything and none of that is actually absolute. So balancing the motion
and managing the pace is not the solution. By doing something at the cost of
something else or by suppressing something else does not offer peace. All contradictions,
if at all, should merge/ melt/ dissolve into one single concentrated force or
intent that steadies the vibration. The key is to become steady in vibrations
and experience non movement – do this by thought or feeling or action or
anything else. Renouncing motion (distraction, desires, vibrations) is also the
same thing. But ordering oneself to renounce does not get the result. Renouncing
does not mean forgoing things – it means to become steady on something so
everything else is dissolved (or renounced or made redundant).
In other words, becoming a value
larger than life is necessary and only this can give one bliss. To be involved
with and talk about values is much greater than to be worried about desires,
security and mind/body perception. Motion cannot be quenched by anything and
worry only worsens the situation or the pace of motion. By focusing on any aspect
of motion does not yield any peaceful result. Focus on the value and become
steady. This will dissolve everything else and consciousness is realized.
