Shree: Practice.

090922: Shree: Practice.

Dear Shree.

Hari is formless. Form, perception, change (nature), visibility go hand in hand. What is visible, is perceived by the senses and is inferred by some name which is related by how we perceive the object, which changes. In short, everything is conditional and a matter of construct! The construct that we create is regarded as gross since it is the extreme perception of “separation” and that induces fear, anxiety, competition and a host of other ego inducing actions. By all this, we mean that we become conditional, we fight, we defend, we evaluate, we experience pain, we express anger, we run away from mortality, we fear. If we still see the fundamental trigger behind above mentioned actions, it is vibration that becomes force and then takes a form. Intellect and feelings (or the trigger or the intent for the same) lies with vibrations. The nature of vibrations dictates the manner of deployment of intellect and feelings. We are made to believe that intellect is everything, but it is not – since there are many things even before an intellect is felt by our mind!

If vibrations become still, then intellect and feelings become infinitely One and what one experiences is unconditional bliss.

When one considers transformation of perception (or self), then one indicates a physical and psychological transformation – the two things are interrelated or perhaps one and the same. It is for this reason that what one conceives from intellectual point of view (sequence and physical dimension) may take time for psychological dimension to catch up. Hence a gap between theory and practice exists (or say between theory and wisdom). Knowing theory is easy part of the plan! Much like a parrot learns how to say things by rote! Becoming something is much difficult and requires sustenance, effort, patience, forgiveness, acceptance and trust.

We are always becoming something – right now we have become this human being because that was what was practiced for many life times! And this practice has now created situations; relationships (perception) and we continue to practice the same!

We can practice becoming the One and that will take time. Trust is required and of course effort. It is a matter of decision, belief, trust, practice, efforts, and sustenance. It also means to become calm and trust that everything happens for good – no matter what situations or what intent and how things have materialized.

Everything is happening and becoming. Motion is. Something comes, grows, dissolves (or transforms into something else) – we say that things are born and they die but do they really? Or is that only a motion in different states? We do not know the entire picture and herein lies the limitation of our human perception. So we say being born and being dead! That need not be the case of perception. Idea diagrams are enormous expressions of wisdom that indicates this manner of becoming (or coming to the world).

This brings another question – what is progress then? If progress does not quench any of our desires, makes us more hyper or anxious or fragmented – is that really good? Incompleteness (as a nature of motion) cannot be satisfied by knowing more things or harbouring more things or talking more about interconnections! We are born in “change and interdependence and motion” – that is the fundamental experience we create. To come out of this web or to go beyond – we need to make vibrations “still”.

Hari Om.
