Shree: Give Time
Shree: Give Time
if one thinks of all issues that one perceives and hopes to control or approach, then they perhaps are related to Time. time is not external, but is a measurement of "change", which means that it is an internal notion of Time that matters or is formed through our perception of motion. body or a form or thoughts or vibrations denote time of various intensities, scales and frequencies. similarly, time may be about the self or family or community or environment or of any scale. we can comprehend this - which means we have the capacity to become aware of changes at various scales. by being aware, we become calm and connected. if consciousness is defined, then it may represent a "web of Time" and in this web of Time various contexts, frequencies and scales may be seen and interconnected. and if this is a reality, then why are we so concerned only about our "individual" Time?
therefore, a sense of individualism creates Time that is far different from a notion of Time that is more comprehensive and connected with all.
fragmentation is a problem. the issue is that a growing sense of loss of control is creeping in and this sense is dependent on scale, frequency of change, disconnected environment and so on. this causes turmoil and it represents something of "nonsense data and noise". it also represents a sense that nothing can be controlled by space and hence whatever you do to whoever and in whatever place and whatever sequence - will it be heard and acknowledged? thus, the concern is about collective imagination (or the nature of collective imagination). if there is no sense of collective, then we are seriously heading for very deep crisis. more the disconnect, more is the noise, more the annoyance, more is the friction and more is the inner turmoil. and we are not even acknowledging this as a serious problem! how much problematic will that be?!
another fundamental idea of Time is a continuous sense of medium - that nothing is ever separated or different or individual. "give time" - means a need to connect. if i do not give time, then i am not opening myself to a phenomenon that i consider it separated from myself. in this process obviously many things one needs to perceive (including pain) and that is what one fears i guess. the language of anything is the same - impermanence and temporariness and perhaps fear and hope and trust. everything is contained in this language of existence. to give time means to accept this language as a means to connect with all. and when one connects, one is not offering a solution (for there may not be anything to say as a logical solution); one only endorses a fundamental reality of existence - that all is One.
