Shree: Abstraction
Shree: Abstraction
As architects and human beings we
are always abstracting any experience born from vibrations. In its fundamental ‘form’
an abstraction means Existence as pure experience wherein even time and space
are excluded. This is the intent of philosophical undertaking – abstracting the
‘self’ to an extent that it expands and achieves a universal dimension beyond limitations
of space and time.
Architecturally we then mean
experiences that go to a deeper level of consciousness where even language or
thought does not exist and only feelings become. This may become a process of
perceiving and conceiving built environment after all.
It is not the visible that
matters, but the abstraction of the visible domain that is hinted and from which,
the visible becomes.
