Truth

There is no need to react to anything, since it indicates an attachment to a state of existence. Creator and creation are two parallel lines or dependent on each other with respect to where you are existing. Where did one begin is not certain although we can trust that consciousness only “is” without any beginning or an end and is the cause for all the phenomena in the world. It is a “cause” does not really mean that it converts itself into manifestation. It “seems” as manifestation (a projection) from the point of motion. Consciousness is potential and manifestation is motion. Consciousness is therefore One and is unbounded and beyond any constraints or laws governing space and time. In other words, space and time result from vibrations/ motion in consciousness. Is motion really present? This is a very difficult thing to ascertain. As long as “we” are in motion, we perceive motion and manifestation of name and form. When we become motionless, we perceive consciousness. Therefore, consciousness or manifestation is based on our perception. We can say that consciousness only “is” and then we need to then build on subsequent analysis of perception.

Thus we either perceive motion or stillness. This means that both states intermingle or convert and either state has the seed of the other. This means that I can perceive a sense of stillness in the bounded laws of manifestation and if I become God, then I will still be able to perceive the potential of manifestation. Hence in manifestation, there is always a mix of two forces - attachment and freedom. These two forces keeps the universe alive (and our perception as well!).

As consciousness or as One, this state is perfectly still and beyond any character or force or form. One can describe this state in terms of what it IS (as explained above) or what it is NOT (no motion, no clinging, no force, no vibration, no constraints, no perception, no force, no memory, no matter, no start and end, no boundaries and so on). Either you describe it by its own characteristics or as a negation of manifestation. So it is called as expansion beyond any known boundaries (or transcendence) and it can also be spoken about in terms of subtraction of characteristics of manifestation – निवृत्ती

This brings us to ask ourselves that what are the methods to reach this state of non motion? Principally we say we can do this by crushing the ego or our illusion of mind-body identification or that there are “many” out there as we perceive and these “many” keep changing and we are compelled to respond to “them” so we can assure our “own” survival!! We can do this by intellect or by unbounded love or by concentration and meditation or by work. Each of these is a method formed within the laws of manifestation and the combination of these methods as applicable to individual tendencies (प्रवृत्ती) will lead to a state of pure bliss. How soon? That cannot be answered.

प्रवृत्ती is like a magnet – an outcome of state of motion. Herein, we see many and we defend ourselves and run after the notion of happiness and we try to control or plan things. This all happens because of vibrations that set our current perceptions regarding the world around us.

A question may be raised here that what is the need to convert this perception into stillness? The answer to this is that it is inevitable in each one of us. Truth is a combination of material and non material world. One is either proceeding (like a pendulum) to the world of manifestation (so one considers the concept of God as totally crap and the reality of “many” as completely true) or one is either choosing to remain disengaged with the forces of manifestation (realizing that the manifestation was completely a bogus idea or an illusion!). What one considers about God and the need to search for this state is an indication of position of your pendulum!

As a unit, consciousness never changes. As individual, motion is perceived. This thought alone may offer clues to one about the logic (or the absurdity) of responding to many signals or reactions thrown to us by situations or people and our compulsion to respond to those!!
