Pain

Shree

Pain is expectation of something – a figment of imagination about how events should occur. This expectation is dependent on our perception of the world and this also is generated by vibrations and to cling to the belief of survival (motion). Many people blame me that I do not understand their pain. This may at first give me a sense of guilt and regret that I am responsible for all of them and I should have done something to mitigate the situation. This is an irrational assumption. “Blame” may also be only an expression done by people, which I imagine as blame and dishonor myself (a self inflicted pain).

This assumption is irrational on the grounds that no one has control over the complete scenario, so what happens when, how and where and why cannot be answered beyond a certain point (for which none of the people are responsible – which means forgiveness holds the key).

A situation is self created. This means that the same situation is seen by billion different ways by billion different participants and hence a universal or agreeable response is impossible to attend and hence there need not be a question about why people don’t seem to understand each other. Even if I try to understand any person, the effect is that I will understand a human perception in a different “form” (combination of hopes, sorrows, pain, nostalgia, fear, anxiety, control, ego etc.)  - so the same set of human vibrations embedded in each human being create unique interpretations for each individual. This is “Maya” or resistance to letting go off our little identities.

The answer to this situation is not of confirming or denial to anything, but only observing things as they seem to be appearing without complaining or expecting. With practice, the hold or compulsion of reacting to our perception will go away and so will importance or validity offered to situations that consist of people.

By this, our responses will become transcendental, unconditional and extremely honest.
