Coming and Going

Certain thoughts need to be reinforced. In any case we keep reinforcing some thoughts based on our tendencies or motion or momentum that has been set by us – either towards contraction/ attachment/ senses/ body or towards liberation/ freedom/ stillness/ Oneness. The reality of moment has these two oscillating states and that is what is perceived when we say “life”. Almost all of us consider life as being alive and our perception is geared towards this reality. But what about a state where there is no force, no form, no character, no colour, no movement, no vibration? That is also being “alive” – but in a different way and we can know this state if the perception changes towards that state. God is not external but needs to be realized within a phenomenon (us). If the seed of liberation is strong and nourished, God is realized within; else it keeps getting brushed under the carpet by other seeds of desires that readily sprout by our own choice.

Thus a fundamental choice is presented to us – either desire (vibration leading to motion leading to identification/ego) is to be nourished or to realize a state of being desire-less?

Without desire means to go beyond desire or identification of a phenomenon having ulterior motives of existence. This is by use of intellect or by meditation or by work or by love. This systematizes perception to an experience of Oneness. I can either be hopelessly tossed in the world of motion or I can choose to remain focused and centered on consciousness.

Consciousness also exhibits a tendency of motion or vibration. The medium is such that motion can be set by a particular will or intent or vibration or force and that leads to a projection of a phenomenon as matter having a particular form and designated a name. Conversely, the form and its forces can dissolve back to the medium of stillness and other forms can be produced. This medium is something that cannot be thought about or described or felt or sensed or caught in any Laws (hence It is beyond everything) and hence it can take any dimension of space and time and keep changing. To think is to also contain It, which is impossible. So the moment It is thought, It already has got transformed into some mode of expression! Thus to know It, is to BE IT; means to BE STILL. The requirement is of changing our state of motion.

Since the two forces of desire and non attachment or liberation exists at any point of time a state of existence gets created that can be said as existing (if believed to be so) or non existing (if believed to be so). The state cannot be described in absolute terms – either this or that – but only a particular position can be explained based on our perception. This is the “doubt” or the “dilemma” that presents to what “we” are as phenomenon. Nothing is absolute – not even we as entities. WE exist as long as we believe it to be true, else there is no real existence to our minds and bodies and our perceptions. The thoughts and emotions and whatever we think, is of our own making and that is what keeps us going. Therefore everything is relative or notional or a construct that we make. There is no real situation out there, no real person, no real form and no real colour or texture or anything. All is happening in our mind. Then we think of various dreams that cause a momentum of sorts and we keep experiencing good, bad, ugly and all sorts of distortions and dilemmas and contradictions. We carry the questions with us and we make the situations. There is no separate event “outside” us – all is “I”.

Thus, why worry, why get angry, why fear, from whom to be feared, what is to be feared, why this sense of desperation, why run, why be fast, why slow down, why hoard, why catch hold of something?....If “I” am the only one appearing as many, from what am I fearing? From myself?!!

Let this realization go deep within ourselves and let it stabilize us and heal us from our motion.

I think I am born in this doubt and for long this doubt compelled action of engagement to complete myself. The engagement will continue with the doubt. Hopefully, the uneasiness will subside. I give back the doubt to God through all my actions and commitments.

The doubt and myself belong to God – there is no “me” separately as such in absolute sense. All is God. So whatever comes, comes from God and whatever goes, goes to God. Coming and going is motion and motion is God. God is there itself and motion is a projection of God.
