Concentration

010122: Shree

Thoughts and body are distractions. Vibrations are distractions – rather vibrations of any kind – be it subtle to gross. Vibrations means to remain conditional to change which gets reflected in space and time fabric. Vibrations bring about movement – which may be seen in thoughts and in body or form. Vibrations mean switching from a unit of consciousness to a particle and movement means a continuation of this tendency at faster levels. At a unit level, there are only vibrations and at higher or grosser levels one can see a distinction appearing in terms of force and matter. Thus at a unit level everything dissolves (or no longer exists) as separate things – it all becomes or perhaps appears as consciousness that is beyond Space and Time. Thus again, we have a question of whether vibrations and their build up as force and matter were real or were they imaginary?!

Real or imaginary is an answer that intellect will come to terms with eventually for our understanding. But whatever the answer, motion causes disturbance in us and it makes things appear in billion different ways that keep changing and we too keep changing. Non motion doesn’t create any of these impacts – it remains unconditional, the only One, forever at peace.

Thus when we talk of intent, force, form, vibrations, material properties, consciousness we are required to “feel” what is happening as per our imagination is concerned. Feeling is beyond words or a concrete output. Words are important but they have their limitations of remaining static and debatable. The moment any form of expression is created it becomes static and it then changes. We are forms of expressions ourselves. We want staticness and we want change too. This conflict of both forces results in struggle or creation or motion or manifestation.

The struggle for us is required and is a part of spiritual evolution.

The focus is required to be on becoming the One, not for any kind of escape but that is what we are.

Hence give up “noise” of vibrations – they are just changing pictures meant to entice our minds.

The second point to be noted here that in the world of manifestation, what can be done as a sure sign of positive engagement? Firstly to practice those ideas that leads to divinity. Practicing needs to be through thoughts, feelings and actions. The key ingredient here is what one chooses to concentrate on and persistence of that practice. This will lead to result. Herein is the importance of good company and great personalities. If I aspire to be like them, then I absorb their qualities. If I aspire to be like God, I will become God.

This means that we should know which tendencies are appropriate to be concentrated and which should be shunned. This is self discipline and self control.

I realize that “gap” between two people is a must because if there is no gap then I become completely like the other person – in terms of desires and pleasures and pain. Philosophically, the process is to reduce the gap between God and you.

God is unconditionally, so be like Him in your imagination. If God only works unconditionally with unconditional love without a hint of any expectations – you should do the same! Bring all attributes that make God and you will become God!

Core

311221: Shree

It is obvious that only consciousness exists and the phenomena that we perceive or sense and react to are of our own making; born from the intent or vibrations; leading to a human experience of fear and separation; and trying to solve the riddle through intellect, feelings and actions. There may be of course billion kinds of vibrations leading to billion kinds of forms and billion kinds of changing intents – all constituting space and time fabric.

We are concerned with what we experience as humans and what does perception mean. Frankly speaking, perception is all about being aware of something and giving it a form of “existence” – either motion or non motion. Generally, our perception is informed by so many things that our energies go wasted in fear and attachment – or in crude terms we are only entangled in creating and making noise of motion. By concentrating them at one point, they can then generate a profound reality of the subject of concentration – this becomes music. By further dissolving any subject itself (except the idea of consciousness), the form of consciousness is seen. There are several aspects ingrained in this:

1.       Concentration on a subject and bringing mind to one point – be it an activity or a thought or an idea or an image or breath or sound.

2.       This leads to the mind going to subtle layers of vibrations or that the vibration becomes steady of an intent - not getting deflected by any noise of uncertainty (not even ego).

3.       The vibrations go away and what remains is just consciousness.

As a method, devotion or concentrating without any egoistic purpose can reveal consciousness. As much as possible, concentrate, think of goodness, do goodness, express without any intent, surrender the personal will, accept, be empathetic, be unconditional always. All these actions are sure to make one consciousness. By dong all such actions, one is essentially concentrating on one’s divine aspects and making them manifest or be seen or heard or felt or perceived or realized. Our core is not motion/ distractions/ noise but pure consciousness.

Intent and Form

301221: Shree

Consciousness does not require any purpose to understand Its presence. It is just there without any conditions and hence is eternal and beyond the existence of space and time or of motion. It is obvious that to  experience or to become consciousness two things would be required – (a) to know the physical attribute of this state as our own nature and (b) to know this physical state without any purpose or expectation.

This means that consciousness should be realized in physical and perceptional characteristics. The knowledge of either also gives the knowledge of other or in other words, both things are interdependent. This equation of form and perception is always present – be it consciousness or in motion. I cannot see or perceive a form in vacuum. I have intent and therefore I perceive a particular form or situation or events or people or matter or anything else. Intent will perceive and also result in physical manifestation. Intent will generate vibrations or motion leading to forms. If there is no intent, then no form will be perceived or even exist. So intention/ perception and form go hand in hand. There is form so there is intent and vice versa. In fact one may even say that there is no such thing as form – there is only intent appearing as form! And to extend this hypothesis, one may say that there is no intent at all – there is only consciousness appearing as intent! Thus by this argument, one says that all the phenomena resulting from motion are only apparent, but actually, those never existed!

The journey towards consciousness is therefore not so simple, since we are always pulled by intent of mind and body towards phenomenal perception. We want to become consciousness physically and through intent. So we take on a journey with a known purpose but the purpose should also become zero at the end! By becoming “zero” in vibrations or motion or perception, one has gone beyond the nature of form and intent – one has become the only One!

Concentration

291221: Shree

Bliss is unconditional – not dependent on space or time. Another word for Bliss is One; Existence; Non motion; Absolute Truth and so on. This state exists and it is just there – to use the word “existence” also does not complete the picture.

Typically we think that existence is something where things are felt and they become visible for us. Things appear only when they vibrate into thoughts and body. Thus our perception of existence depends on the phenomenon of motion or vibration. This phenomenon creates “many” and these are interdependent and keep changing. We change too and hence that seems to affect us. All thoughts; all motion create a feeling of impermanence and we cling to this idea and hence expect control. Permanence or impermanence is not what I am. I am not the motion. I am only consciousness that is infinite; at rest; ever blissful; unconditional; source of all there is. Motion is only apparent; is deceptive; illusionary.

The journey to realize and become this state of tranquility, therefore, has to be something that starts from the world of motion and takes one beyond. As a unit of existence, the same source called consciousness “appears” as motion (as a world of billion forces and forms) depending on what kind of “vibrations” create us or define us. Vibrations lead to thoughts and then to body and the body in return sends signals through senses that are sieved by these vibrations and this cycle continues.

The approach is to change the vibrations that are the cause of motion. Our mechanism is the mind and body to start this process. Mind makes things real. The identity of our body (senses) depends on if the mind attaches itself to the senses. Thus, the start point is not to let these signals reach the mind. Once having done this, what remains are vibrations around which the mind pays attention. This step itself takes a lot of time. When the mind feels vibrations (as its property) it no longer catches the signals of senses or the body; thus its perception of the world has changed. Finally when it also silences the vibrations, it becomes consciousness. When it becomes consciousness, no aspect of motion remains and the entire world has vanished for it. What remains is consciousness.

One can hence see here that consciousness is the only absolute, infinite, One, non motion, Truth. Whether It has changed into motion or motion was only an apparent creation is a question that cannot be (and need not be) solved. This medium has a property of “Maya” that makes things appear as causes and effects - if believed to be so. Else there is no cause and effect anywhere.

On a day to day basis, we find ourselves desperately trying to “fix” situations and even our own character. We question “why” for everything and become defensive many times and expect things to happen in certain ways. All this is noise – coming from our attachment to the body. Fixing is not the solution here. Fixing is not required as it is important to feel that there isn’t any problem in the manner in which one exists and situations are perceived. All is just incidental. The absolute truth appears or makes us as a “wave” in the ocean or the “cloud” in the sky and no matter what situations come and go, no matter what happens to people and you, no matter what is stored in the future – one is always the Sky which never has changed.

This is to be realized. This thought needs to sink in. This thought needs to change the nature of vibrations to make us unconditional in intellect, love and action. Another word for this process is concentration.

Dream world and a calling beyond

281221: Shree

One can keep writing about God. Perception is a double edged sword. Perception is our state of existence – in motion or no motion. This is self talk and imagination can make one feel guilty, miserable, and helpless if wrongly used. Know that we are divine, so imagination is incidental and we will keep imagining for this is what we have been called for – as God’s projections. All world is God’s projections and there is nothing in space and time that is not His or doesn’t manifest without His will. We have to rise ourselves from the narrow confinements we have set for ourselves because of our ego or tendency to cling to motion. It is the will or the potential to be non motion or to manifest or appear as motion. This can be done by dissolving vibrations or anything that senses feed us or to concentrate the mind at one point without distractions caused by senses. Thus, existence is independent of any vibrations and vibrations result in movement or the feeling of birth and death, but NOT existence which is already there.

Terms of projection, reflection, manifestation, motion may be apparent – something there or not there as a phenomenon – or it being a property called Maya.

The lesson to learn from this state is not of loss of control, but to understand the limitation of the idea of control and to rise ourselves to become divine and unconditional in whatever we set out to do.

As motion, our intentions are limited by faculties of mind (or by attachment). We define some purpose for our thoughts and actions and we expect something in return – this creates cycles of engagement and there is no end to it. There is absolutely no reason (except for our constructs) why certain things, events, people, situations react or sound or behave in those manners. We react and it is a sure sign of attachment or our belied in motion and to be motion.

Why things happen in particular ways is best understood to lie beyond mere logic, so whatever we imagine, we try to find answers in terms of causes and effects and therefore lay expectations. We create some relationships to situations and we feel pain or pleasure – it is a self crafted story.  In this story, we create ourselves, we create situations, we create others and we then go for a roller coaster ride of life.  Again, why we create these things in the first place (why become a fox) need not have any answer! One can enjoy the story nevertheless or feel mad about it! Either way, it is a story! The urge to renounce kicks in when enough of this story telling has been done by us and we experience a “calling” beyond. If we are awake, if we hear it and if we pursue it, then we become consciousness. Till then, we are in a dream world.

Unconditional

281221: Shree

Existence means attachment. This happens on account of perception. Perception is because of “vibrations” - summarily felt as mind and body. Vibrations exist at various scales from most subtle to the grossest or heaviest, where matter is perceived. All these vibrations generate a momentum of changing thoughts, changing perceptions, impressions, character, differentiation, the need to cling or assert an identity, relativity, space-time, cause-effects, and so on. What is perceived as difference of forces and forms is an illusion of sorts formed by vibrations or desires that form each one of us as “waves” in the ocean.

The clinging is natural and so is the recollection of freedom and hence the struggle. The process of struggle to arrive at a state of freedom is unique for each individual but there remains a general idea of what should be the outcome of the process undertaken. We want freedom from being conditional – an attribute of motion. All our wants, desires, approaches, intents, expectations, feelings and deployment of all faculties of mind are dependent on motion.  Motion for us (as humans) means attachment, many or fear or insecurity. The answer to fear does not lie in being attached with motion. Motion will generate fear if considered real. Anything that is conceived will generate motion as its result or in other words motion is the medium for conception. Thus from this perspective, we are the creators of our own existence and what we do, how we do, why we do…all those things.

This fact almost all the times is forgotten and we do not know why we have come here! But we are vibrations that much is certain and these vibrations create all the struggles of existence that we experience. We think we are needed here and there, we should be doing this or that, we should be acquiring knowledge and all this stuff, but in fact we have just forgotten that we are fundamentally divine. The process is of removing the layers of perception and these assumptions.

Another word for this removal is being unconditional in our expressions. There need not be any conditions for deploying intellect or love or action; there need not be any motive born from ego/ attachment/ vibration. By being unconditional, one becomes desireless eventually.

If we are able to reach this state of expression, then we can become God.

Hari Om.

I am

Shree

There may be a question regarding the importance of writing all this versus to remain engaged with wordly affairs. Our mind bothers us further on following cyclic thoughts:

1.       Is this the ‘right’ thing to do at this moment and am I missing out on anything else?

2.       Will I achieve perfection if I do this or if this is avoided?

3.       Will I be peaceful?

All above questions are the result of being in motion – they do not necessarily depend on what is done, how things are done and why to do certain things over anything else. This means that the questions are generated or constructed or imagined time and again (or perceived by ‘us’) despite whatever we may be doing otherwise. So the approach to address above questions may partly be placed in motion and may be located beyond motion.

Any moment is the right moment. It is the intellect that expects some kind of control based on some idea of planning, interdependence, cause and effects and lays conditions of perfection based on these variables. It lays a condition that reads like IF all these variables perform in this manner ONLY THEN I am happy. This is a huge burden and expectation to perform for us. This happens because we operate through motion and motion means vibrations that result in perception (also clinging of imagination of mind and body). All above questions do not have a satisfactory answer in the world of motion. In fact what we encounter are questions and more questions! We create the cause of appearing as motion and hence we also have to face the effects! Cause and effects are imaginary and to think that by doing a particular thing in a particular way in a particular space and at a particular time will lead to a perfect situation and a stable one at rest is extremely foolish.

Now if the vibrations themselves are silenced, then there is nothing to fear since there will never be any separate entity. Consciousness is always there and will always remain in a state of non motion. It DOES NOT require any support of space or time or any form to perceive Itself or anything else. Perception of self (and hence ego) happens in motion. In non motion there is only One, so how will the One perceive Itself? Our ideas are dependent on our faculty of the mind or the state of vibrations, so they can go as far as the vibrations allow us to perceive reality. Vibrations do not require any external forms to form. They are just there. When we feel these subtle vibrations, we are not seeing or feeling any external world – but an internal world is perceived. Going beyond the internal world is consciousness that does not move, is One, is infinite, is always there, has no character, has no form, has no space or time as Its identity.

This is what we need to realize about ourselves. Forget the rest of the story, the work, the tendencies, the feelings, and the intellect. These faculties are from God, so if deployment of these faculties is concerned, please deploy for the purpose of realizing this state of non motion. I am not at all answerable to motion and I am NOT the motion so I cannot be evaluated by those parameters. I do not miss out on anything and I am not born neither I die. I only am. And by just being, I am happy. Why should I require motion to state my happiness?

Perception

271221: Shree

Perception is existence – perception of anything or any state of mind. I think that “Maya” is a property of this perception – that it can either perceive consciousness or motion and hence whatever it perceives, it clings to it; it loves it; it makes that state real. This is called focusing on a particular state to make it real. Currently we all tend to focus only on motion and hence we have become motion (many, clinging, change, fear, memories, forms, fluidity, mind-body, vibrations and so on) - all these are notions or constructs or imaginations which are a part of motion. We are conditional; we expect things; may get pleasure or pain in return; we keep running; we think we are born and we will die; we cling to anything that the mind and body tells us; we have ego. Whatever we imagine because of this state of existence, we make it real.

This ego is to forget our nature of consciousness and to consider our existence of “wave” in the ocean or the “cloud” in the sky as real. Anything of space and time is subjected to change and hence our attachment to motion will not only change us but also present to us changing facets of motion. Motion results from vibrations – appearing something as consciousness and something as a particle and causing forces and forms that move and change. The problem is to check change and to believe that our identity depends on change. If you get entangled in more dimensions of change with greater frequency and faster pace then life is bound to get miserable for you.

Why does this happen? It happens probably because we just keep accepting signals from senses or body and get affected by those. Signals and perceptions that arise from these signals – are constructs. We take them as real, so they become real to us and we respond. So the lesson to learn is to dissolve these signals that the senses receive. This means to turn your attention inside and explore the inner world of vibrations that become subtle and subtle till a state of non motion is realized – this is the experience of consciousness.

This means that as one becomes consciousness, the vibrations no longer are present, and if they aren’t then anything that depends on them also vanish – i.e. there is no manifestation or any situation or people or circumstances or any constructs. This is our absolute nature.

Hari Om.

Unconditional

261221: Shree

We unnecessarily worry. This worry is because of our perception of how we exist as mind and body – breaking it down to vibrations. Motion will generate cycles of imaginations; of situations, events, people, forms, perceptions, tendencies, changes, memories and so on. Not one aspect of manifestation can be solved and offer a sense of completeness to the intellect and if we remain stuck by relating or constructing our identity on perception or intellect or if we insist that our perception is supposed to remain valid, then we are inviting disappointment and pain in our lives. One may think and apply any faculty of mind – be it intellect or feelings or action – all create cycles of engagement; all create their own expectations; all create pain. Fundamental in all this application is the perception of ego or the belief in separation or that I exist as mind and body so I must survive and all that self talk that happens in our mind is geared to reinforce this belief. I see a human being and that kind of defense mechanism is going on and on  - whether he says it or not. If I get affected by that defense mechanism, then I need to inculcate the same kind of language of defense or ego – hence to continue to exist in motion means that one is being defensive and treating motion as real and hence getting attached to all perceptions generated from mind and body.

This perception is infinite in its constitution! It deals with impressions or momentum of past lives; it deals with our memories or our choice to attract a certain set of signals; it deals with space-time effects; it deals with body vibrations; it deals with mind vibrations; it deals with subtle vibrations – collectively it forms existence for us.

This may throw some light on our tendencies of expressions and reacting to “situations”. The point is that as long as existence is real to us (as motion), we will defend ourselves by whatever means possible – even now many of us are already in a self talk to reinforce our separation and justifying all the fears and dilemmas that exist within us. What exists inside is what gets projected and caught by us from outside. This cycle continues. One can try and take one thread of thought and observe where it leads one – it will be inferred that any thread of thought changes into anything else because of certain causes and effects and there is no rest in a position and it turns out to be a cycle of continuous analysis and responses.

Certain people talk their minds and we feel prompted to react – why?

Certain people do not say anything and we feel compelled to justify or pacify them – why?

Certain people say something and we feel defensive that they didn’t understand us – why?

Certain people complain and we feel the urge to solve a problem by feeling guilty or responsible – why?

Certain people say something and we agree to their perceptions – why?

Certain people express anxiety and no matter what we do to assist them they keep expressing the same tendency; then we feel helpless to do anything or get angry at a situation that seems to be out of our control – why?

Certain people continuously forget things and this result in nuisance to us, and then we think if they do it on purpose or they do not want to do work or it just happens – why?

We think that we should keep doing something, reading something, writing something, going to some place – why?

We think all this is crap and we should sit at one place and that too seems to bother others and we feel compelled to explain our thoughts – why?

We try to fix things and that again creates other cycles and we do not stop – why?

Above are some of the questions that continuously go in our minds and we lose a lot of steam on the way. We do not focus and we do not concentrate on reality that should matter to us. This reality is God and that we are spirits that have no motion and that gets expressed apparently as faculties of mind and body. That there is no you or me or need of being defensives since the entire idea itself is an illusion.

We are God and hence remembering this dimension and practicing it will again reveal this reality to us.  Today I can do whatever I want and help any person in whatever manner I can – it is still spatially and temporarily impermanent. I construct notions of duty and responsibility and I am stuck trying to help others by food or desires or intellect or feelings or actions. I am myself not permanent and stable, so what hope am I to assume for permanence of everything else? So please, forget responsibility and duty to anybody. One comes here as a form and one has to realize that there is nobody else different from him/her for which he/she needs to fear or to feed or to love or to do some duty or to be responsible.

This is a fact. Hence to imagine something as a defense mechanism or to reinforce oneself is not required. Be inspirational beyond these limitations. Be divine. If you have to use intellect, love and actions – do it unconditionally without thinking of ego, context, situation and expectations. We just express things and do not worry about anything.

Vibrations

251221: Shree

Motion is motion – it is not meant to be engaged with. Engagement is a choice – this we call as life or construct or perception arising from the tendency of consciousness to vibrate (or only by Its presence to cause vibration). I think the word “cause” means apparent change, whereas in reality it does not! Hence cause and effects may also be apparent! Thus the entire manifestation described or dealing with vibrations to forces to thoughts to mind and body to form may also be regarded as apparent and not something real. To answer whether the phenomenon of conversion of consciousness to manifestation is real or not is immaterial since it cannot be “solved” or even be defined in the language of capacity of perception (problem and therefore a solution). Why it cannot be articulated is probably because intellect is also an apparent manifestation of non motion and hence to even think of something or even the most subtle idea is to stay in apparent reality and hence to remain in vibrations and therefore not come to know what lies beyond. This needs to be accepted as a situation and then to be embraced as an incidental part of existence. Once this acceptance seeps down into our core (i.e. without complaints of any kind; without asking questions; without the urge to find solutions) then the journey to realize conscious becomes more effortless.

Our mind and body arise from vibrations that are deep down in us – something that we can’t see or feel immediately, but which are closest to consciousness. Vibrations are vibrations without a label of intellect or feelings or any meaning – they just appear. These are required to be silenced. Probably the “first link” between consciousness to some subtle form of manifestation is by vibrations. The mind in its present form is attracted towards the outer extremely loud signals of manifestation, with the result that we respond to signals of touch, smell, sight, smell, taste, sound and are compelled to remain engaged and make our identity of existence accordingly. This is a dimension of motion. So I consider everything else different than me and as a result I am compelled to think of survival. The vibrations, forces cause all this difference and hence present to us the ever changing manifestation. Not a single thing in space and time is the same and constant for one and all. What we are upto currently is trying to respond to this change and hence we keep struggling.

Transcendence is required to silence motion within us. This can be done by philosophy or by comedy or by satire or even by digitization. Hence all these tools present space, time, relationships in a very distorted manner to make you aware that you are not contained by the laws of Nature.

I am not the cause and I am not the cure

241221: Shree

I am not the cause and I am not the cure. I am only a witness.

The idea of cause and cure or effect is in motion. The perception of what leads to what and how, when, where and why are a part of understanding the motion – which may be real or just apparent.

No justification is required for proving presence of this state of Maya – of motion and non motion. I exist in either of the states. If in motion, then I think I am changing; if in non motion then I am always there without any change or vibrations or force or forms or any character.

In motion, there is character, change, perception, response, control, expectation, imagination, projection, fear, dilemma, and the obsession to control because of the belief in motion. In motion, I see many and I fear and then I expect something based on how I am perceiving situation at that moment. So a situation is a projection that I have created for myself – there is no external situation “out there” for which “I” am supposed to “respond” by thinking internally. No means that such a distinction is illusionary or false or a construct by identifying ourselves with mind and body. Inside or outside; I or you; this or that; first or second – all are separations resulting from motion. To ask question of why will lead to all these cycles of repetitions, evolutions, transformations and so on without any rest.

One of the cycles we fall into is of vibrations and the resultant tendencies or characters of people. There is nothing I can do about the tendencies and there is no need to even expect any control of the same. The tendency is a construct, just as we are – we are choosing the manner how tendencies erupt in us (as phenomenon) and how they let us perceive manifestation around us. All these words of time, space, causation are a part of our motion and our vocabulary of explanation. To ask for rectification of tendency of a person is a wasted attempt - just as anything about manifestation. Thus tendencies need to be accepted without control, but it is to be noted that tendencies DO NOT define you. Tendencies are there.

So I am not the cause and cure of anything. I am nobody as a phenomenon – all is just incidental quality of consciousness (as a witness). WE have to realize this. Manifestation will exist, but that is nothing for consciousness and for “me” as a wave. People may say whatever they want to, do whatever they want to, that will inflict pain or pleasure for me, I may not have clue about anything for future, I may do work at some pace, I may choose to think rather than unnecessarily act out of confusion, I may or may not do whatever I feel like – but all these things do not suggest anything for anybody and not even for me.

I only know that I exist and I know that there is consciousness. I should only realize that state. All else is only temporal, spatial and of motion.

Hari Om.

Identity

If I see a particular thing in isolation then it appears something, if I see as a relationship, it appears something else; if I see as vibrations, I see as cyclic phenomenon; if I become consciousness, and I do not see anything! Whether I see a thing as an object or a relation or as vibration or consciousness - what is the absolute reality?!

All forms and forces are only apparent – they do not have any real identity. Rather the identity or the existence of any form or force depends on our perception. I can perceive something as a phenomenon or purely consciousness. A thing or a situation appears to us in the same way that we wish to perceive it; else there is nothing in it. A form does not exist without perception and vice versa. So these are only degrees of perception – mind and body. At a human level, there are layers of perception because of vibrations, force, mind and body (and past lives). This makes our perception and not the direct thing as I see it “right now”.

This changing perception is to be worked on to finally take us to consciousness. Worrying is not required, control of change is also not the issue, fear is unnecessary, fluctuations are not necessary. Trust is the basis of all things; to know that the source of all things is consciousness; and nothing alters Its presence or beginning or end and It does not move anywhere and is not transformed by anything and does not take any character or form since It does not vibrate.

Identity of motion is an illusion – a wave and apparent and changing. This is not who I wish to be seen or evaluated. This is just motion that we ride with as we consider ourselves different from the rest. What the sun is or the moon or the ant or the grass or the sky or me or you or the sea – is just one and the same seen as “name and form”. Minus all the attributes and what remains or becomes is consciousness. We are not even aware of this potential of subtracting motion. We can practice it and become consciousness.

We are consciousness. Let us realize this experience.

Hari Om.

Not of imagination

When someone says something, it is not intended that I respond or do anything or justify something or become defensive or argue or save something. The person might or might not expect anything in return, the person may express certain tendencies, these may be received or interpreted by us in a different manner urging to act on them, but we need not be bothered about what anybody thinks or expects (and for that matter, what the manifestation expects and urges us to do). The background noise that compels us to act on something needs to be checked. Why this question of acting or getting involved the moment I perceive sounds, words, smell, intellectual idea, feelings, forms etc.? What is this compulsion? What is this urge to act, say, write, read, do?

Compulsion is what we feel at the surface of mind, vibrations are something that happens deep inside the layers of mind (called force or even something much finer). These vibrations generate the materializing forces that compel us to act and perceive motion. This perception is of three kinds – Satvik, Rajas and Tamas and we tend to imagine, think and respond based on any of the three tendencies predominant in us or which continue to define our momentum of force/ mind. I think or vibrate because of these tendencies. As motion, I am any of these three characters and hence will think, respond or attract these tendencies as well. I will perceive environment in that manner. Therefore what is existence after all? That, which vibrates and causes motion. This motion alters the character of consciousness into mind and matter. By each level of alteration, the same absolute knowledge gets expressed as relative knowledge of these tendencies. It has a psychological dimension and a physical dimension.

Thus, it is a mistake to identify with these tendencies or to imagine and these tendencies are what we are. It is a mistake to think of control and to imagine that one is motion and hence separated from others. There is no you and other in this equation – it is only apparent. Motion, separation, fear, doubt, imagination, memory, perception fall into the same umbrella. It is this motion that creates the world; that we perceive; we think of control and expect returns; we become angry or greedy; we harm others and so on. It looks terrible. Who are we to do anything? All is God and all happens by His witness and presence. Our existence as motion is absolutely immaterial and has only a validity of a wave or some transient form.

Motion is also what it is. No labels and no judgments – this is what we are, as motion although how much ever incorrect it may be voiced. It is the truth for us at present. However we need to transcend this truth and become the Absolute Truth of Emptiness, blissfulness, Oneness, non motion state. The only way to be that state is to divest all kinds of constructs, motions, perceptions that we keep expressing. The idea of past, present, future, perception, existence, form, perfection, other, many, fear, doubt is all imaginary. We aren’t these constructs, but we are that which is beyond the world of motion. Let us realize this! Let us remember this ideal and let us practice this in everything we do. This is not a mumbo-jumbo talk for gaining some credits or earning some praise or some fashion statement. Far from it! It is a state of inevitable rise to freedom and the more conscious one is regarding this requirement, the better is his/her commitment to this state of freedom.

I am

Shree

Time. There are many things that happen.  Things happen despite us. And what tends to happen is not an indicator of our divine nature. Whether my output is fast or slow does not define me and neither does it imply whether I am clever or dumb. Whether things get accomplished or don’t whether they start on time or get delayed, whether they must be done or can be skipped – all is the purview of intellect. Whether I should do one thing at a time or multitask several things again is immaterial, since this also does not define divinity. Time and change I am NOT. Feelings I am not, neither am I the intellect. Sounds I am not neither the words. I am not the perception neither am I the response. I am not the anger or the miscommunication. I am not the external situation or the internal situation that produces the external! I am no part of vibration that creates all this manifestation.

I am.

Inner Journey

201221: Shree

Things exist. Existence is perceived in many ways – either as motion or as non motion. In motion, vibrations lead to construct of the mind and body and these make us receive signals of senses or the environment or manifestation that keep us tied to motion. But important in this perception is the experience of being identified with body (as something to be guarded against the other forces) and the moment we have become motion, we have taken on a character that gets formed by body and mind. We run after satisfying the needs of this motion – especially starting at the level of senses and going all the way down to a mental level, vibration level and then to non motion states.

The experience of non motion can be achieved only through cutting the layers of senses, then mind, then vibrations. This means that these layers exist at hierarchical levels and are interconnected and by passing through each layer, we ourselves change; our perceptions change, our responses change; our feelings change; our definition of situations change. This means that mind has all these scales of vibrations.

As we go deeper, we become unconditional in our perception and response of motion. Perhaps motion becomes lesser and lesser, changes become lesser and lesser and finally we reach or become a state where motion and conditions of identity or of change or of transformations do not exist.

We become unconditional and we realize that for being blissful, no motion is required. I exist and for expressing love, identity, there are no conditions involved. This needs to be remembered always and this state has to be attained.

If we review our actions and perceptions as a part of our daily routine, what do we find? Firstly that we are all clinging to this notion of body, mind, constructs, change, motion and so on. We have difficult time to digest any kind of change and we expect control over it. This causes pain. Secondly each person perceives reality in a unique manner, since that is the function of vibration. Vibrations create constructs and they create feelings. As long as we exist in motion, any kind of a situation of existence will be perceived or generate some kind of feelings in us irrespective of age, gender, religion and these feelings will also keep changing. In a reverse manner we can also say that because we think, we perceive or generate situations on which we latch our identities. So any human being (and any life form) displays this tendency of clinging and fear. This fear either is located in senses or body or in intellect or actions. The fear is the outcome of ego and we do not wish to experience pain. Pain is a sort of emotion or a deep feeling and resistance to change. Change is again a construct and so is the resistance offered to it and so is the pain that results from it. Thus if you see, all situations, causes and effects and their continuous impacts are all constructs that we treat them as real.

If ever one wishes to understand pain, then the journey expected is the one explained above – going from external motion to internal motion to finally no motion at all. Finally, it is all a matter of understanding and observing without reacting.

Focus

One may say anything or not say anything at all. One may manifest or be in a state of non motion. But one is actually expressing itself as One or many.

Nowadays time can be perceived as something that can be done as thoughts + tasks OR something that has no justification (such as hobby or reading for pleasure or doing things that give meaning to self). Can these two realities be slotted as two separate states of routine or does one merge into another is one nothing but an extension of the other or are they one and the same?!

I think one can start from any point of view, just as one can start manifesting as any form having any tendency to begin with. No tendency is true in absolute sense but it surely can make one realize the ultimate truth. In that sense, any tendency can be regarded as good enough start point.

Similarly as regards to time and slotting and merging and being one aspect – it can have any start point as a response, as long as one learns continuously and reviews what is happening as far as our imagination is concerned.

If I look at my own life and routine, then doubt or dilemma and introspection may form a major chunk of the expression. For this, I have to set aside some time for observing the self, decoding some things and moving on. I guess moving on is more about letting go off thoughts that binds one down than a physical movement of time and place. This should eventually develop to a state in which one has transcended movement caused by perception of time and space. The movement is supposed to feel incidental – as a part of manifestation, but not as a compulsion or something that one clings to or identifies with. One moves, one things, one feels, one takes actions as a part of manifestation (in response to laws of Nature), but not as a part of ego or attachment. This is to be told to oneself everyday and every single moment of our existence, if one does not wish to be carried away by desires and land up getting bonded more firmly to motion than ever before.

So one acts based on knowing that there is the ultimate truth which exists everywhere, which exists in us and we should be moving and realizing that state. The motion and all dilemmas are a part of movement or the journey that one has embarked. All talk of suppression or rejection or illusions are stages of realizations – we may require continuous effort to make sense of these words without getting dejected or frightened. So let us begin from whatever standpoint we are located.

The mind imagines or vibrates based on some impulse. Generally if I exist, I am already in a state of motion so I am vibrating with a particular mindset that means the feeling of change, impermanent, fear, and dilemma and so on. This will continue even after the body dissolves and this vibration will catch hold of other body for fulfilling its needs. So if I vibrate as God (as permanence, fearlessness, bliss, One, non motion) then there will not be any manifestation or perception for me since motion will not be able to affect me or transform me or superimpose on me.

Thus it is said to keep focusing on God - either through intellect or love or action - in any way that the motion or tendency makes it possible for you – so that eventually after the body dissolves, there are no vibrations left to manifest again.

Expression

God, you are the only One who is permanent, all other things are generated from your presence and take on the aspect of “motion”. Things get defined or identified as motion and forms appear and are perceived. These forms are perceived and responded by those, who are a part of motion, who have appeared or keep vibrating as motion else there is no motion, there is no noise, there is no differentiation and there is only Silence and Oneness. The fundamental thing is to become peaceful, calm and spiritual. All outside manifestations need not define us, we need not be attached to them and we are not all answerable to anything. These words too are filled with noise and what is expected is just pure calmness and the acknowledgement of presence of consciousness and that exists within us.

I exist already, I do not require any proof for it or justification. I love, I work, I think and that is all there to it. There is no other, there is no vibration, there is no body or mind at all. There is no motion. It is only apparent.

Millions of impressions of vibrations formed in million lives have created our belief or association or perception in terms of mind and body (as vibrations). This perception can be changed by fixing the focus on something that is permanent and depends on nothing for support and which remains unchanged. This is the Source, the peaceful existence of God. By repeating our engagement with God in terms of thoughts, feelings, actions, meditation, we change our tuning to God and we start to feel His presence more and more. We start to realize that we are spirits, we feel love, we are unconditional, unbounded, unjustified, beyond space and time. This needs to be reflected in intellectual, feeling, action dimensions. I don’t think so that there is going to remain a “rational” cause and effect relationship in all these dimensions – that what one does in intellectual terms, how does that correspond in feelings and actions. There is an idea of union and balance but that needs to be realized by the self through all dimensions. What one thinks intellectually may appear as a response in quite apparently different way through feelings or actions. Anything is a starting point predominantly – it is not necessary to start with intellect and then see how it affects feelings and actions. Perhaps this expectation also may be a burden of sorts. Who am I to say or judge the mode of expression used by anyone? This is important to understand because we are very quick to judge others by our own standards. We think our way is the only way of perceiving things and therein lies the problem of not being empathetic to other’s mode of expression. There is no point here to justify. All is pure expression! The tendency is to vibrate and that brings in attachment. The goal is to dissolve the attachment. How one does it and through what mode of expression, is entirely up to the tendency of the individual!

The entry point can be action or feelings and then only be aware of how other dimensions reflect this dominant idea. This is also an acknowledgement of God in all dimensions – hence any start point is a valid entry point for this discovery. In terms of intellect, God may be seen as non motion and interconnectedness, in terms of feelings it is felt as an Idea of Love and non judgment, in terms of action it will be seen as devotion to duty without any expectation of returns. In exercising any of these dimensions, the chief output is to express these dimensions without the ego and hence to keep engaging without any thought of return/ attachment/ clinging/ survival/ condition/ differentiation/ justification and so on. That will bring the common thread of all these dimensions. I can go on to say that there may be billion combinations to express one’s existence, yet the intent is to transcend any of these billion combinations and express them without any purpose of motion. Come to God, but do come surely!

This means that God, the Universal Soul, expresses through dimensions of intellect, feelings, actions (as vibrations). Everything comes from God and everything is supposed to indicate His presence and nothing else. My perception of forms and motion is just incidental – appearing apparently because of property of vibration to express itself as intellect, feelings, actions. Something vibrates, hence it gets perceived by the application of intellect, feelings and actions. God is there and hence the wave of expression is there.

We mistake when we cling to the ability of thinking, feeling and acting for some purpose of achieving control over others because of differentiation. Others and we and all dimensions are not separate at all. I know that dimensions of existences are real to us, they have their purpose of motions and they need not be suppressed or questioned or blamed in any way. They only need acknowledgment.

If there is a purpose for all this, then it is to realize that we are God. Realization of Godliness is the purpose of motion, and nothing else. There is absolutely no motion anywhere, there is no difference and there is no noise. The property of vibration which perhaps maybe apparent creates all this noise and attachment.

Nutrients

Good Morning Shree.

Every second of our existence is based on self talk – countless vibrations that are generated and that lead to a thought. People may say something as a sign of expression but that rarely says something about their internal world and very rarely does the listener gets unaffected by what is said by others. This means that depending on the state of my mind, I perceive words. I perceive the words in a way that speaks of comparisons, compulsions, urges, guilt, anger, dilemma, contradictions, hope, and empathy within me. Regardless of what is said or not said by anyone and regardless of my reply or no reply and regardless of what I do or do not do the impact of this self talk persists. This is the frequency with which we keep vibrating and even if I see a space or think of time or see people or situations, I tend to repeat these tendencies again and again till they become so deep rooted that I am unable to control them fully.

So the point is why do I generate these vibrations and this self talk? Is this necessary to be generated? There is no answer to this other than understanding what vibrations are, how they get generated and what gets expressed as perceptions.

This has got to do with imagination or our perception of motion – as a state of existence. This tells us or makes us believe that we have an ego, we have a mind and body, we should survive and we are different and therefore we expect control over situations. Situations finally, mean internally imagined or created vibrations and as long as they exist, some form of ego, some imagination, some expectation of control, some perception of change will continue to exist. By stitching these vibrations together, we arrive at a thought and a feeling of mind and body and our perceptions of different forms. We therefore perceive everything in terms of these vibrations. Our motion is what forms our perception and our identification with mind and body. So the Universe is not real – it is a fabricated world created by a phenomenon called “vibrations”.

If the vibrations dissolved, we would become something else. We would perceive a state of non motion, a state of Oneness, a state of bliss, a state of consciousness.

Ethics and morality and the four paths of union with God are suggested to realize that vibrations are not “we” and that there exists only consciousness – the motion is only an apparent creation or an apparent phenomenon. The four paths assist to dissolve the vibrations. Give everything, including your identification of your character (whatever it may be in terms of anger or dilemma or anything) back to God. We are only a wave and that too, only apparently so. We need not expect anything, need not control anything, need not work for anything, need not define a purpose for anything, need not believe in motion.

Maya is a union of consciousness and motion. Whether one exists or the other cannot be said with certainty. Maya is a property that results into a perception of Oneness or of many.

Thus do not get distracted by motion. We are always One. We are beyond change and we are spirits.

It is important to practice this thought because transformation within the self happens slowly. In what ways and how and when is something that is a mystery. Just as millions of impressions of motions that have been reinforced probably in millions of birth make us believe existence of motion (or life and death), we would be required to change this internal mechanism by additionally spending perhaps equal amount of time to reach God.

An additional point can be stated symbolically. Mind is anchored somewhere (or at some place). This place offers it nutrients by which the mind grows and makes situations. In other words, the nutrients create imagination. The place is either of motion or consciousness. The nutrients that motion gives is “vibrations” that makes the mind imagine its birth and perception of universe and it gets entangled in it. The nutrients that consciousness gives are detachment, non motion, dissolution, bliss. By feeding these nutrients to the mind, it becomes consciousness. Of course we should understand that every nutrient given to the mind changes or transforms it instantly towards motion or consciousness. Or, the nutrient itself has a property of manifestation and consciousness.

Stem Cells

Good Morning God.

In intellectual life, one thing leads to another or depends on another. One thing is not a standalone thing in itself but has a property of everything else – just as stem cells having property to metamorphose into different entities, having different characteristics that form a body machine. The forms become so distinct, that each one appears separate in its function or purpose, but essentially have come from the same Source or the same potential! It is the same potential that is present in the hair, in the blood, in the liver cells and in the gut cells as well. If these cells fight amongst themselves to prove who is better than whom does this argument even justify being entertained? It will appear ridiculous as they became what they are from the Source itself! Because we know the characteristics of stem cells, so the argument of which cell is better than which other does not arise in our minds. All appear distinct, serve their purposes but yet have the same origin, so they actually serve the same purpose. Thus there is unity in all this diversity of forms and purposes or intents. Why such a phenomenon exists only requires to be wondered but not questioned, so one starts to enjoy the process.

Similarly, why do we keep arguing and fighting about what is right and whose perception is supposed to be confirmed or approved or followed or rejected? The various forms that make you and me and other life forms are apparent or incidental part of creation, coming from the same Source called consciousness or a state of motionlessness. Just as we do not have an answer to the question about the origin of stem cells and their transformation into other body cells (and we are happy to accept the things as they are) and we just wonder at the phenomenon of “how”; in the same way we need not find answer to the origin of life apart from knowing the Source of all this and the probable causal relationship of consciousness and manifestation.

Each form has a purpose of course and each form completes the puzzle or the wonder of life and the role of the form gets acknowledged. By whom? We need not concern ourselves to this inquiry. Variation in life is a must since that is what keeps motion alive. In other words, motion or vibration is the output of difference of some kind or order at various scales. To do away with the difference is to destroy manifestation all together.

The difference and unity (as two opposing forces of reality) are felt by all. For survival we cling on to difference, for expansion of mind we are practicing unity – so we are tossed between motion and non motion or the state of Maya which can be said to exist and not exist at the same time.

Maya is vibration and that is what existence – either of motion or of consciousness is. We should accept Maya in totality taking the whole of manifestation and consciousness as one single unit or phenomenon that appears differently under different states of mind.

If I know that I am consciousness, then why find answers to questions of duty or bondage or freedom in manifestation only? The question is supposed to transcend the motion and realize the potential in each one of us. This is more about a combination of trust (faith or inspiration) + inquiry (reason or intellect) + action (work).

I must first hold on to the idea of presence of consciousness as my true nature – something that is beyond all motion and all perceptions and from which everything else emerges or vibrates. Then this idea needs to sink in deep in my mind. Then I need to meditate on it. I need to practice it. All this will finally result in realization of the idea.

So let us begin!

Trust

All the knots of the heart need to be made straight every day. The knots are in perception – to be compelled to get identified as motion or non motion and to subsequently expect something or plan for something or do something about it. Identification of existence (as motion) happens in motion itself where one gets aware of mind and body and the perceptions that result therefore. These perceptions construct a situation for which one is required or compelled to respond. Again, perception when broken down means vibrations that imply the property of consciousness. Sometimes existence as separateness is felt since we identify with the particle (force and matter) and at other times we feel space and change. Any form that manifests and perceives an existence expresses this property. Thus our constructs of ourselves and the external situation stem from this property. Again, when I write this I do not necessarily mean where does this entire phenomenon start and why does it start and how does it start and how long will it remain. So I cannot vouch for space, time and the causal relationship. I can only say what I have understood from my existence so far. Above relationship is bound to change based on how the perception continues to get modified. I can discover the behavior of this property - of consciousness and of manifestation and how space, time and causal relationship seems to express them but at no point of time I wish to confirm anything with surety. So this means that I exist incidentally and above understanding is incidental to the constructs that have been created along the way.

In the same way, we cannot give any parameter to explain consciousness in terms of space or time or relationships, but the medium does exist else I would not have been writing on this and you would not have been reading it! It seems there is only the idea of “how” things are and not about “why” (or any purpose) or “when” (time) and “where” (space). To be concerned about these questions means to remain engaged with motion. Motion presents these questions to us and the person who can transcend these questions, is the one for whom motion will not have any impact on him.

This brings us to the idea of “acceptance” of situation as it is (motion and non motion). It also means that motion is not the doer of anything; it is only incidental to consciousness. I must renounce everything to feel consciousness and this may mean renouncing everything that the body and mind indicates. In other words to give everything back to the Lord and seeing everything as Lord’s undertaking and offering our services to Him without any hint of our own existence. Renouncing and offering without expectations are one and the same. Do it by any applicable method suiting you. To give up questions of why, how, where and when means to “trust” the presence of consciousness and its absolute existence in everything.
