Shree: Going Beyond

God is everywhere since all forms we see, all forces we encounter, all vibrations that ‘exist’ are expressions of the One medium. The variety and the ‘life’ that makes these forms ‘alive’ is coming from One source and the moment that Source is there, a form is alive, thinks for itself and is dependent on other forms of the web. This dependence is collectively referred as ‘vibrations’ present in the medium itself – Its Potential of becoming or creating or causing movement. This is to be reminded and felt at every instant.

Now the challenge of the intellect is that it ‘decodes’ any aspect of motion and through this process realizes the sequences of variables. However it ‘assumes’ that by knowing the variables, it can control everything. The intellect itself makes certain variables perceivable and hence it cannot overstep the boundaries created by variables themselves or by the ‘self’ that is referred as intellect and feelings. Realizing its own limitation, there is however no need to label or evaluate oneself based on this impermanence of variables and their ever changing sequences. This is a huge learning (and a relief) that is based not only on logic but far beyond any dimensions of motion – trust in other words. Consciosuness creates the intellect and this dimension or presence of consciousness is required to be ‘realized’ within the self – it goes beyond thought and feeling.

Hence no matter ‘what’ gets perceived in whichever manner, trust the potential of consciousness to realize Itself in Its pure form. Evolution can happen.

In continuation I feel that all attributes of mind (imagination) are required to be explored (even idleness) to become "steady" at the end (when the mind evolves).

External discipline to imbibe focus or production or compulsion does not help much. In fact the mind will revolt more if it is told to produce and discipline itself out of compulsion. 

Steadiness should be a natural process of settling down the waves. Evolution and connection should be a natural process. For this trust is necessary on the mysterious process of existing...motion and non motion. 

A home is a concept that means "to be as natural as possible" and a prison is opposite of that. Are our environments becoming a prison because of non communication, barriers, compartments, extreme demands on production, surveillance and so on? Are common open spaces therefore becoming redundant because noone seems to be encouraged to loiter and greet? In this environment what sort of creation are we even expecting, if all thoughts are going to be evaluated?

It is a mistake to believe that thoughts "must" always be good, benefit for mankind and so on... *let the mind wander* and let all thoughts come and go....the mind will subside into tranquility.
Can we let ourselves the time to wander?

Steadiness is a state of mind. It means expansion on the basis of all dimensions of existence through thoughts, feelings, vibrations and so on...connections in short. 

This means many things in life...about a continuous space, or transitions or movement or connected timelines, shared spaces and shared times and cosmic to daily connections. 
This has reflections on imagination, conception, expression and built environment.....fundamentally a *process* of imagination which comes from Inspiration and has no start or end. Individual pursuit is an unnecessary burden. Does the idea of remaining individual/ isolated become burdensome?

What does this process therefore mean in a world of competition? 

How can studios be imagined, exercises framed, collaborated, discussed, installed, credited, learnt and connected with space and time?

Can learning be done in this way? Can sufficient pause times be allowed? Can free integration of subjects, practice, academics, people be allowed?....

Shree: Of balance and architecture

 

One of my friends who lives in Manitoba indicated that because of severe cold in majority of months with some days of minimum daylight of 3 hours (-40 degrees) architecturally it is necessary to connect everything underground and have a packed social encounters indoors. In the summer, all activities become outdoors for maximizing Sun’s exposure (camping, barbeque, tenting, mountaineering and so on) because the sun is limited and so is the warm weather. Therefore one perceives the weather not as a moment but an inevitable extension (or a connection or a relationship with the harsh winter and loss of social life). So the summer and its related activities and winter is not seen in isolation but as a relation that balances life.

Above was a positive example.

We also have some space of socializing like the bar or discotheque, which comes on popular radar. For years I had an inquiry why should one even conceive a space for boozing when all one requires is a simple street and an open space where there is incidental meeting of people to mentally connect? This goes on to say that the discotheque is a “balancing act” (of letting all your pent up emotions run riot without any barriers of any kind) as compared to the regimental ordering and sterilizing of emotions in the overly surveilled work spaces for five days a week! The discotheque is the antidote to a work space “prison” environment! It is also a sign of the times that unsurveilled open spaces cannot fulfil the need for emotional contentment so one sort of gets into the deterministic act of designing spaces (with a bang on purpose) to give you a Nirvana experience!

Taking things further at a subtle level, I found it funny and mildly irritating to see a college video of “studios” and “corridors” and so on. This may look a very innocently portrayed video, but it seems to also say that all the “explorations and discoveries of architecture” deterministically can (and only) happen in the studio spaces! What sort of stupid message is that? As if all the learning happens at a given instant of capsuled time and capsuled space (coming completely from outside without ever concerning what happens inside!)….

The mistake that we all commit is to expect that the moment holds all the answers of fixing and whatever it reveals. What I “see” as a form (maybe a kid or parent or anyone) is what one is without understanding that the feelings that one generates are coming from interconnections created by consciousness across space and time. So a kid or a parent or anyone has many things to feel or say or do and that contributes into making an action that we see in that moment. Are we to ‘fix’ an action? And if yes, what should fixing mean?

The problem of instantaneous action also means that we do not give ourselves time to pause, reflect, think of connections, priorities and so on. This is outright dangerous and one can see its ripple effects everywhere. Nowadays everyone is concerned about kids being overloaded by information and “not being attentive or listening” to what academicians say and so on. Is the problem so simple or is it far too complex that starts from methods of upbringing and how pause time is seen or what production should mean and livelihood and completion and so on? People talk of earlier generations beng more mature but has anyone analyzed how ‘maturity’ builds up through time, pauses, dreaming, meandering, struggles, explorations, engagements, failures and so on? And if people infer that the current generations are becoming more dumber, does that mean that the environment is NOT being conducive to exploration and the meanderings of the mind and the mind seems to be in passive mode or non cooperation mode or just not willing to budge? That the only way to bring engagement with action is through deperate doses of fear and urgency and stress? Are we constantly living in such an environment?

Shree: transformation

Belongingness is born from vibrations which come from Existence that expresses itself as imagination. It is a feeling. Feelings lead to perception, thoughts, emotions and a form and connections. We are feelings or Existence is a Feeling. As an adjective, the medium of Existence has a dimension of Unconditional Bliss and Unconditional Intent of Becoming. In a nutshell we say that It is always eternally Unconditional. From belongingness, come feelings of exopressions (or imagination of connection) and from those we have relationships and ideas of space and time nd activities and finally – architecture. One can look at architecture as a ‘finaly product’ of ths process or anytime in the middle or start. Is architecture only physical craft of space making or does it begin with Existence  becoming a  Form? This means principles of architecture run deeper than one can imagine and hence birth of scale, proportion, change, movement, experience and so on these should come from consciousness itself. Through traditions, customs, cultures, the scales and proportions get redefined, meanings created, and collectively they reveal in some form or the other across physical space and physical time. Making things physical calls for transformation of invisibleness into visibleness. And the process of transformation is what is the fundamental nature of Existence – that It will vibrate to transform and create infinite forms. Property is of Creation, so there is imagination and vibration ingrained in this process. As forms, we do not own the property of creation – we only express it and hence any intent that we may feel should ideally be credited or surrendered to consciousness.

कुठल्या गोष्टीने काय होत आणि कसं निर्माण होत ह्या प्रश्नांनी बेचैन होण्याची गरज नाही. अस बघा कि सर्व भगवंताची निर्मिती आहे, म्हणून त्या क्रिये मध्ये आपली पूर्ण श्रद्धा पाहिजे. निर्मितीला कारण नाही, वेळ नाही, स्थळ नाही, वृत्ती नाही - म्हणजे कुठलच ‘मूळ’ कारण नाही. म्हणून आपण शांत राहणे महत्वाच आहे. मी मन नाही आणि विचार नाही, म्हणून मनात काय होत राहत त्याने मला विचलित होण्याच कारण नाही. त्यातून गती कुठली होते, लौक्कर गोष्टी घडतात कि हळू घडतात – त्यात आपला सहभाग असतो का?  एखादी गोष्ट होईल तेव्हा होईलच आणि त्याची एक वेळ यायला लागते. गोष्ट होणे आणि वेळ येणे – ह्या दोन्ही भगवंताच्या स्वाधीन वस्तू आहेत. म्हणून आपण शांत राहावं आणि आपल्याला समजेल तसं कार्य करत राहावं, भगवंताला अर्थातच स्मरून,

Shree: IF…

 

 

Shree: IF…

 

We get hyper about many things that we sort of expect to control or assume that IF a certain sequence of variables is followed and controlled by ALL, then things would get done or be resolved or we will attain peace and so on. The issue is about the construct of IF….and this IF can contain many variables from individual body to mind to intellect to universal variables present everywhere. And this IF perhaps generates a definition of ‘self’ and the more expansive this IF, more we become dependent on many things. Is my identity or self dependent on any aspect of motion?

The reason for expansion is not to have absolute control but to realize that things are visible and invisible and they are “created” from subtle forces that make something visible to ‘us’ in a given point of space and time (just as a radio catches a particular frequency). Perhaps Invisibility is the Truth of Existence and what we see as visible is to be accepted to change, be dependent and limited and temporary. Our own vibrations or thoughts or feelings generate this visibility or our relationship with visibility. So an event A is seen and leads to our response C based on what our relationship gets defined B. The A to B to C is linked on either directions and this is a very important learning – NOT to stick or start with A or B or C but seeing them one aspect that presents itself into many variables, relationships, representatopns, responses and finally overall imagination. Or the learning of the Truth can start through A or B or C.

The start of all this phenomenon is the understanding of Existence and we are not the change or dependence or control or forces that we attach ourselves onto – but much beyond all of this.

Currently the situation seems to be that we expect control for self, for family, for relationships, for work, for future, for present, for work, for discussions, for revelations, for product and so on….it IS a natural process of discovery and unfolding, transforming and becoming visible and invisible. This is a very intrinsic part of creation – why become fearful and bother about any control?!...

Shree: Wavering

Wavering of the mind is intrinsic, to begin with our position and lead us to transcendence. Waverimg is a state of existence, of exploration, of analysis, of creation, of meaning and is a natural aspect of evolution. All the systems and documentation is NOT intended to chase the footprints of wavering or meanderings of the mind and the mind is NOT a set of documents for its existence.

Anyway, one is not required to be attached to a particular thought and even if one is – one is required to analyse how that contributes into a feeling or worthiness. And if one is concerned aboput the start, then what starts a thought – is it the intellect or are they something much more subtle ad deeper and universal? Everything comes from consciousness and from the level of subtle Truth and that creates perception for us. Everything can be converted into pure bliss. And bliss itself is beyond everything, beyond justification, beyond movement or a vibration or any coming, changing and going of thoughts..this realizationis going to lead to many lives, situations, people, relationships, meaning, concerns and so on. It may take a certain amount of “change” to realize the stillness and the Oneness behind all changes one perceives.

Behind everything is God and we can know it by looking through the visual forms we encounter or create. Why are we afraid? Why are we afraid of change? Why do we require expression of something and for us to tell people what we mean and how is meaning constructed? Is the whole thing verbal? Is it a word? Is it visual? Is it anyting that motion suggests? Is it confirmation to the language of motion? Are we the motion?

Shree: Steadiness

 

Shree: Steadiness

 

It is a mistake to assume that compartmentalization and to be concerned only with the self is the way of liberation or peace or any other alternative based on causal relationship (created by vibrations or the mind). This life or that life; this situation or that; this decision or that; these words or that; this action or that – wavering of the mind is embedded in this and this wavering is a kind of identity that is created or born in motion. The Truth is beyond that, from which the entire creation happens. Hence becoming steady is beyond any situation or any situation can result or lead one to becoming steady.

“Leading” means connecting, expanding, abstracting and so on. It is also about refining, distilling to realize the One Truth.

This journey is unique in each one’s case and at times is a bed of roses or a bed of thorns. Roses or thorns is our perception if we expect some attachment out of the motion. Wheras steadiness is not be bothered with any change or encounter with rose or a thorn and when it occurs at what frequency and at what intensity – none of the issues of motion should matter. However this needs to be learnt and not dismissed or even suppressed or procrastinated.

Anything has an effect internally and anything that happens internally has a cosmic connection. Realize the cosmic connection  - realization is not fixed on any one method or time or scale or imagination. You will have to encounter everything and encountering is God’s giving  - His Existance. Thoughts come and go and that is all there is to it. Steadiness can make us realize that.

In our day to day life it means that our progress and adherance to preferences and struggles are a part of this journey that cannot be stated or expressed always and at times we required time; at times we get through and at other times our mind diverts and so on. We have to understand and accept this wavering and coming back. Let it go wherever it has to – it will finally settle into bliss.

Shree: to belong

One wishes to belong/ express/ remember/ connect with Existence in a given form of perception. All forms of expressions (or perceptions) come from consciousness and hence all forms have a core of consciousness within them or all forms “remember” consciousness. This means they are aware of some aspect of creation and hence respond to stimuli (or signals) of time and space (which again is a creation of consciousness). What we call as vibrations of consciousness result in all scales (or are present in all scales of manifestations). The vibrations ‘manifest’ as motion or as movement and we refer this as Potential of becoming. These vibrations physically create a form and the form is aware of its position in the web or contributes to the web of activity. Perhaps there is no such thing as ‘physical’ – all is a phenomenon which includes force and matter or physical attributes or strictly speaking – grades of vibrations from subtle to gross.

We perform rituals and if one traces the ‘origins’ of any ritual activity (Puja of an object/ sacredness/ ritual movement and so on), one may uncover dimensions of connections to cosmos, interpretation of cosmogony, relation with geography/ territory, life forms, life forces, humans, social relations and the history of this relationship and the expression of this relationship into an activity. In fact territory as a word may have the mentioned relationship and more than the physical geography (as a trigger), territory indicates an imagination of a connection or a construct of belongingness.

The inquiry is that an activity can indicate all of this – from individual to collective to wisdom to imagination. So this means the creation of ‘meaning’. As times change, how does meaning get altered? And if activity continues without any recognition of changing times, is that supposed to be a dead ritual? And in changing times, if a connection or the meaning of connection is carried ahead but the expression completely changes, then isn’t that to be accepted?

The topic is vast. It says what it means to transcend, to belong, to transmit, to carry forward, to continue, to change, to hand it over. Every generation creates a meaning, without which existence for us is not possible. Individualism, intellectualism is also a meaning and has brought its own set of imagination and a character of connection. One can debate on probably which imagination seems more sustainable and which is more harmful and if these terms are an integral aspect of mind or are they only physical expressions?

The inquiry for us needs to take us to mindscape as it reflects onto the outside physical fabric of space and time. During reflection onto outside, the linkages are perhaps never logical but mysterious. I like to believe that there may not be anything as ‘true logic’. Else things would be dead.

Make room for everything that informs perception. For all you know, it might save mankind!

Shree: who am I?

 

Shree: who am I?

I am not sure why I am here, what am I doing, where am I going, what is in store for me and what is this ‘I’? since I do not know the start and the end, I am in perpetual turmoil. The craze for finding answers personally and for humanity as a whole has resulted in many responses – that hardly may give peace, if there is self compulsion to resolve this dilemma. The intent of learning is not required to create more dilemma.

I come from God, as each of us do surely. So I am born with a question which seems incomplete and impermanent and hence makes one speculate and generates imagination and the compulsion to remain engaged with life/ perception. What I see as forms or forces or vibrations – what I feel – is a matter of imagination/ phenomenon and hence a construct.

One will never know the origin of an action or an event or a situation which includes many things from subtle level to gross level. This will give fear and pain and the compulsion to control these deep rooted feelings. This is our expression of existence, the way it seems to appear or unfold to us as change, dependence, many, separation, wavering and so on.

But is this to cause uneasiness to us and take things personally? What we see, is the result of a phenomenon of existence and vibrations and hence all is interlinked. What we see and infer is the result of analysis of thoughts or the signals we receive, perceive and decode. What thoughts occur, change and go are not mine alone but coming from a single reservoir of consciousness and it is His strength that does all the actions and not us.

We are required to be aware of this fact, realize it and trust this existence. There is no need of hiding or running or proving. I not having definite answers to developments is NOT an indication of what I am or who I am and internal peace is NOT dependent of this reality.

Shree: Pravachan

Shree: Pravachan

Prawachan is the analysis of behavior of the mind  - so it expands to become subtle and full of Truth. It is to look within the self and what constitutes the self. However it is not a static formula to be applied – it is only a revelation or realization and the techniques mentioned ought to be applied in contemporary lives to realize the same truth in a contemporary setting. In that sense, old or traditional or the future or contemporary is only an apparent creation of the mind coming from the same universal consciousness. The formula is suggestive, probably only symbolic since the whole phenomenon of existence itself is that – phenomenon that takes one to the truth of being.

However this journey is to be realized – that it is a journey that one chooses to undertake amidst all odds. The odds are the minds workings. And the journey is supposed to bring a transformation of perception till the mind becomes subtle, expansive and steady.

We do not have any start point or a middle or an end point – it is relative to what one feels about oneself and that too is also to be accepted.

I think one of the biggest things of existence is to simply accept what perception means and what it makes you do and what you wish to create. And this idea of being in motion is also what it just is. So there are going to be many thoughts, many feelings and many sepculations and many wanderings – all is accepted. It is the nature of the human mind to wander and to analyze.

This process can generate insecurity and fear, which has no answer and may lead to stress and loneliness. To try to find answer to this primordial feeling (or any feeling) is to remain in this constant engagement. Real calmness can come when one knows why this feeling develops and yet, one does not use it as a stick to evaluate anything around oneself – one goes beyond all deep feelings. One knows finally that the medium of consciousness ‘creates’ this phenomenon.

Hence the name of God is important to be taken.

श्री, आपण सर्व गोष्टी “शब्द” ह्या पार्श्वभूमीवर बघतो. त्यालाच धरून राहतो आणि त्या शब्दाच्या मर्यादित अर्थाला सत्य मानतो. शब्द निर्माण करणे आणि त्याला धरून राहणे हि वृत्ती आहे मनाची. शब्दातून आकार, परिस्थिती, स्थळ, काळ – अश्या सार्या गोष्टी साठवलेल्या असतात आणि त्यातून परावलंबन, विचार, भावनांचा उद्रेक वगैरे. किवा अस्तित्वाची जाणीव “शेवटी शब्दात प्रकट होते”. थोडक्यात “दृश्य जगात येणे” म्हणजे “शब्दात मांडणे”. आपण फक्त शब्द घेऊन वावरतो का त्याही पलीकडे अदृश्य अस्तित्व आहे? शब्दाला स्वतंत्र अस्तित्व आहे कि ते अदृश्यातून येत? आणि ते अदृष्यातून निर्माण होत असेल तर अदृष्याचा स्वभाव आणि दृश्याचा स्वाभाव काय असतो आणि त्यात सुद्धा संबंध असतो का आणि तो संबंध बुद्धीच्या चौकटीच्या पलीकडे असतो का? ह्या प्रश्नांची उत्तरे मिळणे म्हणजे शांत होणे, कारण शांत व्हायला विचारांची एक मर्यादा आहे आणि त्या मर्यादेच्या पलीकडे आपल्याला अस्तित्व जाणवायला हवं.

बुद्धी, भावना, मन, शरीर, परिस्थिती – हि एक अवस्था आहे. ती आपल्याला विचारात गुंतून ठेवते आणि ‘आपल्याला सर्व गोष्टी कळायला हव्या आणि सोडवायला हव्या आणि मुळ उगम कळायला हव’ – अस काहीतरी मनोधारणा घेऊन आपण वावरत असतो. ह्या अट्टाहासापोटी आपण दुख भोगतो.  “कळायलाच पाहिजे” अस समजणे हि चूक आहे. आपला काहीही अधिकार बनत नाही गोष्टींचा उगम माहीत करून घ्यायला आणि आपल्या तावडीत ठेवायला.

थोडक्यात, विचारांच्या पलीकडे “होणे” हि गरजेची बाब आहे. म्हणजे अट्टाहास सोडणे, समर्पण करणे, मूळ न सापडण्यास चिंता न करणे, सर्व एकच सत्य आहे ते ओळखणे, श्रद्धा वाढवणे, गोष्टींवर श्रद्धा असणे, घडामोडींवर आपली शांतता निर्भर न होऊ देणे, शांतता सर्व गोष्टींच्या पलीकडे नेणे, चिंता सोडणे, कालची, आजची आणि उद्याची काळजी न करणे, मर्यादा ओळखणे, विचारांचा स्वाभाव ओळखणे, सोडवण्याचा अट्टाहास न धरणे वगैरे...

ह्या सर्व गोष्टी भगवंताच्या अनुसंधानामुळे होतात.

Shree: proportion to space

The idea of proportion has got a very deep meaning. Is it only a physical attribute for a constructed or an imagined space or is it more than that? Space (or a form) comes from many inspirations or motivations and to know what that meaning is; formal analysis of space is not sufficient. Perhaps that is the meaning of ‘analysis’ – taking one to the realm of imagination and speculation of course.

Space for humans needs to be constructed – the primordial need of ‘belongng’ or the urge to remain connected with existence, even this – the word ‘existence’ is very much deep rooted that it can rarely be contained in words.

The above intent then takes various processes of imagination, meaning and construction to create a physical space in a physical domain of space-time environment. And perhaps this may have been referred as Volume Zero by Ar. Louis Kahn – where consciousness only is and that triggers intent and expression.

Thus, the response of proportion – dimensions, is to ‘scale’ the given space-time phenomenon that it starts to become related to human needs. A nomadic ‘tent’ as a space talks a lot about vastness of physical space and also about imagination to relate to that vastness. How do I ‘relate’ to this vastness – that seems to be one of the questions that architecture of the tent seems to suggest?

The question, if one takes it more deeper, is in any existential situation, how do I relate to space-time? This question is valid for any space and time. If we come from consciousness, how on earth am I suppose to belong ‘here’? This act of belonging is probably what triggers architecture.

Shree: On biometrics and iris recognition

The so called essence of Christianity (or any religion that has now got a popular flavor) that seems to be endorsed to people is : “biometric thumb impression or iris recognition”!....decoding this further it means that you must perform before you die; you must produce something worthwhile that gains GDP; you must be perfect on all fronts; you must be fast; you must be intellectual; you must score 100%; you must be engaged; you must have a lot of brownie points BEFORE you reach the finish line (or the Judgment Day).

The popular Hindu religion is also not spared from this. The confusion seems to lie in the “intent” of existence and actions that stem from that intent. What we refer as “karma-kanda” is nothing but appeasing God for our frailties or for outperforming challenging conditions and so on – summarily the constructed ego. Many imaginations, rituals, expressions, representations come from appeasement idea or conditional idea that says – “if I do this, then I am entitled to get this….or I must be good , so that I will enjoy something….”. Conditional performance. And the idea of performance also has an intent of ego which defines what performance means and what it should not mean and so on! This spiritual purpose reflects onto psychological purpose and then on relationships and then on actions! So much deeply flawed concept we seem to latch onto.

When did ‘religion’ become “performance oriented”? and performance seems to generate fear, hurry, boredom, annoyance, anxiety, fragmentation, stress, competition and so on. This is what happens when so called ‘great minds’ choose to interpret even transcendental aspects of God into something of a gross performance at the phenomenon level. A blunder, I would add and the whole world is taken for a terrible ride at whatever existential crisis that would get created on the way.

Hence evolution is about recognizing the error we commit that is situated too deep in our consciousness and to rectify that error by going deeper within the self. Again, it is not so logical, linear, sequential or a web sort of relationship between inner imagination and outer expression. It takes time to heal the self internally.

Generate trust for healing.

Variable’s definition is dependent on many “other” things – the term “other” also goes on expanding. In the equation of existence therefore, a variable becomes a construct tied to many other constructed things that keep changing, continuously to create a new picture as a sequence or as a perception or as a feeling. More the connected variables are known (expansion of the intellect), more is the stress put on a particular variable for becoming perfect. Hence more things one knows, one may become more stressful to achieve perfection. Therefore if perfection is seen as comprehensive connection of many variables under perfect ‘control’ then that is a very stressful situation to be.

The important thing is to become “calm” in the phenomenon of variables – that means to silence the mind by its known behavior under motion. Technically it means to transcend and go beyond the mind. Now this process is NOT through the mind’s way of behaving but different than that. And it is referred as trust, focus, faith, patience, and meditation.

श्री

 

श्री

श्री, असे काही दिवस असतात कि जेव्हा शांत वाटत आणि तुझ्या बद्दल लिहिण्याची आणखीन इच्छा होते – त्यातला हा दिवस.

तु सूक्ष्म आहेस. आणि सूक्ष्माचा प्रत्येय ते होण्या माध्येच येतो. दृश्य जग स्थूल आहे, आकार घेऊन आहे आणि त्यात माझी बुद्धी आणि भावना कार्य करतात. त्यात त्यांना वेगळेपणा जाणवत आणि त्याच प्रमाणे विचार उद्भवतात, निर्माण करतात, कर्तेपणा ओढून घेतात, बिंदू शोधत राहतात, आकारंना सत्य मानतात, अस्थिर राहतात, आणि परावलंबित होतात आणि दोष शोधत राहतात स्वतः मध्ये आणि दुसऱ्यान मध्ये. थोडक्यात अस्तित्वाच्या एका स्थितीला निर्माण करत राहतात. त्यातूनच त्रासिक होणे, दुख होणे ह्या भावना निर्माण होतात, कारण आम्ही लोक (जीव) “तसे विचार करतो”.

म्हणजे कि विचारांची शैली बदलली कि शांत वाटू शकत. हा उपक्रम योग्य बदल स्वतः मध्ये घडवून आणण्यात आहेच, पण सत्य काय आहे ते जाणणे देखील आहे. सत्य कळलं, कि विचाराचा साचा बदलला. आत्ताच्या क्षणी आपण शांत नाही आहोत आणि ते का हे हि कळायला हव. ते कळणे म्हणजे भगवंताच सर्वांगाने चिंतन करत राहणे. अनुसंधान साधल कि आपण खोल जाऊन, सूक्ष्म होतो आणि शांती लाभते.

दुसरी गोष्ट अशी कि आपल्याला कुठली टेकडी किवा धावण्याची शर्यत जिंकायची नाही आहे. तसं वाटत राहणे म्हणजे आपलं कुठेतरी चुकत आहे समजुती मध्ये. सगळ्या गोष्टींना चालना देणारी शक्ति श्री आहे, दृश्य नाही. वार्या बरोबर पंख्यावर “धूळ” साठली कि दृश्याचा परिणाम दिसतो – पण ते खरं नाही – वारा खरा आहे. पाणी जर दगडावर घासल कि शेवाळ्याच थर साठतो – तर शेवाळ्याच बीज पाण्यातच होत का? म्हणजे कुठल्याही गोष्टीच बीज, निर्माण होण्याची क्रिया, गुण आकारास येण्याची क्रिया त्या सूक्ष्म शक्तीतच असते – जि इतकी सूक्ष्म आहे कि आपल्याला कळत नाही – पण तिचं असणे निश्चित असते. म्हणजे गोष्टींच मूळ  - उद्भवणे, बदलणे आणि मावळणे ते अनंत असलेल्या शक्ति मुळे होत – माझ्या मुळे नाही. राग येण्याच काय कारण?! कसला तो अभिमान?!

काही करून दाखवायचं नाही आहे कुणाला आणि सिद्ध होण्याचीही गरज नाही. गोष्टी भगवंतामुळे घडतात आणि त्याकडे मोकळ्या मनाने बघायला लागत. सध्याच्या पिढीचे विचार इतके निराळे आहेत, तर ते तटस्तपणे आणि मोकळ्या मनाने बघितले पाहिजेत. त्यातूनच आकारांचा वेगळेपणा आणि कुठे ते “एकच सत्य बोलत आहे” हे कळून येईल.

भगवंत होणे हि क्रिया सरळ कदाचित आपण स्वतःसाठी केलेली नाही – ती बर्याच अंगाने, कालांतराने जाणवते. त्यासाठी श्रद्धा वाढवत राहायला लागते.

Shree: Forms

Forms or process, words, imagination is unending...we are understanding this. 

Where do forms come from, how are those imagined, what happens during translation and how those seem to be represented are the crux of our discipline. 

Form making is eternal. Imagination is eternal. And there is only One conscious medium that becomes visible as forms. 

The search for form begins.

Subtleness need not be spoken or endorsed or justified or said or acted upon. Our perception and analysis and feelings and actions seem to behave in some way when it comes to visibility of forms. Things are only a figment of imagination that starts with subtleness and coming all the way and translated into thoughts, feelings and forms of dependence having some character that is perceived. This needs to be reminded to the self that all is a phenomenon in the making. A phenomenon that does not or need not have any word. The point is that it is not compulsory for visibility to exist for itself. It is apparent existence that is dependent on existence of the Absolute Truth of Being or Oneness. Visibility by itself has no role.

This Oneness “appears” or is imagined as many and visible change or motion or movement or a web of forms and scales and proportions. Therefore imagination is an attribute of Existence and wherever there is Existence, there is bound to be imagination. In terms of creating imagination, it all depends on vibrations (as a function of becoming) and comprehensively all this makes us aware, makes us analyze, makes us act and become steady.

So we exist currently in a phenomenal world of vibrations  - we can transcend should we choose to do it.

For transcendence to take place, there is effort + there is self analysis + there is God’s grace.

Crux is I do NOT know what is there as a visible expression – that itself creates a possibility for the Invisible to appear! I am made of Invisible medium, hence why would I be seeing and existing as a human being here?! The moment something is seen or perceived, there is analysis and a conclusion or a meaning gets created. There is attachment, there is control and there is engagement. But if the anchor is the essense of subtle Truth, then things would be different.

Shree: Form

Shree: Form

One lives for realizing the Truth. It may be an integral process of being human, without which we cannot live. Realization may bring its own process of vibrations and situations and dependence and feelings. We cannot say why this and why not that and why now and why not later. We cannot say why this thought now and why the change into something else and so on. Why is meant only to understand that there is a phenomenon which generates an equation of ‘why’ which finally should lead to moving beyond and becoming steady. There is no absolute reason for forms to appear and change in mysterious ways and whatever we construct is a meaning by which forms appear to us or created for us. Yet we need to work on this – there is no denying the power of forms on us and it is not even a matter of dismissal or control. A form may mean very superfluous present or a profound phenomenological dimension of the mind or a form may also mean becoming formless.

A lot of patience is bound to be required here and again it is for the self that one undertakes the process of becoming steady and formless – not for comfort or justification or saying anything about the Truth. Everyone tries it and should of course try it. Some seem to succeed, some work on it and some remain clueless about the entire undertaking. This is to be digested – this variety of efforts and in no way any of the efforts or intents undertaken by others should distract us or bother us or pain us.

Shree: Measure

 

Shree: Measure

Shree is a subject as long as He is seen or felt as something ‘separate’ and hence the answer to all evils; something to acquire; something by which all else can be defended; something that can be permanent and so on. That is a standard definition of ‘subject’ for us – which is “perceived” by our mind which is also interconnected with every other phenomenon and is formed from vibrations. This means that all that we become and see – is a result or a function of a state of existence.

This attitude towards action requires to evolve. Currently action for us is conditional – we ourselves as a measure of everything are conditional and temporarily situated in the fabric of existence. Hence this ‘unit’ of measurement (our mind that can grasp the entire territory or become the entire territory) should evolve and become the One.

In our day to day situations, this means to develop some tendencies of gratitude, intangible existence, permanence, compassion and become steady. Our existence as Truth does NOT depend on any situation or movement or wavering or a tendency. Our creation of conditions themselves are temporary and keep us engaged with the phenomenon. ‘I’, currently am a phenomenon - mixture of vibrations and transcendence; but I can become pure transcendence. That is the goal.

I can become the One.

People react to existence in different ways. Too much of order can bring silence, apathy, and individual weirdness. As lesser and lesser things become in control or lesser opening for negotiation, more engagement happens at micro level in terms of negotiation. Defense is a stand one takes to address loss of control or too fast a change. Too many things have been bombarded on young minds and with nonstop information explosion. That keeps mind always unstable and highly skeptical of everything. To address this skepticism, there may be fear that releases outside for doing and clinging to anything. The lower emotional brain may be in use in the current environment?!

Therefore, any tendency is not isolated - it is triggered by many other situations and developments and how one decides to perceive or “form” a perception. Hence it is always a collective activity coming from One medium that currently we are unable to understand and hence express fear and annoyance over situations or phenomena and try to fix things or find a start point.

This is an illusion. Although not really false, but also not absolutely true, this is called as ‘phenomenon’ that makes us form certain perception of existence. We are at Home of God and hence whatever happens always is for the benefit of Existence. We need not ‘fear’ – as imagination.

Situations, things, variables are formed from imagination – inner focus or intent and not the other way around. There will always be something that will appear to change, be dependent, feels unresolved, and is temporary and so on – that does not mean everything needs to be fixed or resolved or balanced out. Balancing things is not a mathematical or time bound endeavor – it has got to do with forming peaceful inner intent.

Shree: Trace

Every day brings with it an imagination (thoughts, feelings and actions – internal + external or duality relationships or the discovery of Oneness).  We are living and being created in the Home of God. It is God’s undertaking, His Home, His actions, His concepts, His imagination and His wishes that get created in us, through us and by us. ‘We’ too are His making and hence carry His presence.

The journey of ‘discovery’ may bring with it many dimensions of experiences unimagined before. They are all God’s undertaking and His forms and we may not have a hint of those. Acknowledging God’s presence intuitively may assist us in taking all changes calmly without making it personally motivated. Nothing actually works out of personal motivation in terms of space or time or situations or knowing or unknowing. Personal motivation is imagination which is born from vibrations and that make us believe that we seem to be different from each other and even God. Yet we know that is not the truth and it is merely an illusion or a construct, since the “core” of all forms is God Himself, so a trace of Him, no matter how much dormant that may be, is in us.

This trace is required to be realized and to be made the essence of our living.

Who are we? As forms in the making, as imaginations and tendencies that create us, what are we and what is perception and how do we act in this existence? What is existence then? Does existence cause motion? Is this a property of existence? Does vibration cause forces and then a mind and a body or a form? By saying this, does it assist me to transcend? Is transcendence only a word or is it an effort to go beyond? Do we really need to prove anything? Is the trigger of action, words, thoughts coming from compulsion or fear or separation or ego or analysis? What is expression then? Should it have a purpose or can all things or formations be as they are? Can things let be as they are? Why is there some pain or a struggle for us? What is pain, what is its origin and what forms does it demand and why? Should there be a pressure of time, space and performance? Should questions exist?

If all pain and confusion is intended to become blissful eventually, then so be it. Becoming blissful is an ‘evolution’ of the mind and our dissolution of ego into God.

Shree: Territory in architecture and life

 

 Territory is a constructed phenomenon. 

 Hypothesis is that as the scope of territory (imagination and it's expression in architecture) seem to dwindle or shorten in breadth and depth, the disconnect of architecture with intent or purpose or a sense of belonging seem to increase. 

 Territory has an idea of mindscape and it's components and the phenomenon of movement in imagination and in geography. 

 Movement herein is equated to meanderings and connections formed/ created by the mind from (cosmological idea to myth of ancestors to histories of the given culture to social relations to physical or geographical terrain and resources) worldview; (to livelihood to belonging to sustenance to relationships) values; to rituals, activities, purposes and actions (externalization/ expression/architecture).

 This would mean that territory and its expression in architecture can be in billion combinations and seems to be the basic dimension by which a human being (or a being) establishes a link with cosmos to physical existence to what he/she seems to perceive. The idea of “meaning” encompasses everything from subtle to visible layers. Every period in history, every scale of culture, every context, every group or set of people, every person would represent a territory of his mind reflecting onto architecture. 

 Therefore the term more relevant is territory and its impact on external environment and based on this one may realize that primitive, indigenous, vernacular seem to suggest a kind of territories different from so called 'advanced' or 'developed' or 'industrial' or 'modern' architecture?...

 Indian communities of varying context tell us or represent their territories in many ways.

 

 Therefore territory is to connect with God. And to become God and to permanently be in the territory of God. Belongingness is this.

 Despite the situation (which are only some steps in the given territory), we need to focus on knowing what is the territory we are inhabiting. The territory is not visual, formal, sensorial - it is in the nature of imagination that establishes the connection with cosmos or the One. We are always in the home of God – we need to realize this.

Shree: integration vs transcendence

One’s evaluation is internal based and the translation of internal Truth to outward expressions is limitless and does not define any devalued worth or assumption of incompleteness. Translation is inbuilt and bound to happen; the trigger of which is the One. We ought to remain connected with the One. The external reality is immaterial as a meaning unless the presence of the One is acknowledged as the seed within the Self.

We talk of fragmentation and then devise systems to “integrate” the fragments/ departments/ systems/ disciplines and so on! In the idea of “integration” the concern of “fragmentation” is embedded!  And hence if one is looking for real integration, then one is required to realize the Truth and become the Truth and transcend all differences and realize the Oneness behind all.

What causes fragmentation is the ego and what causes dissolving or merging of fragments is the One. Integration is again sum of the parts, which is limited. Ignoring the parts also does not remove the part anyway! What is required is “dissolving” which means the parts were a figment of imagination! Dissolving again does not mean removal or dismissing the parts or erasing the parts – it only means that the effect of those parts to pull the mind in all directions no longer happens! In other words, the mind becomes “steady” in itself, tendencies do not erupt; transcendence occurs.

Past articles, if seen, try to decode who am I or what is i? It is a phenomenon of creation and with the creation of I; there is creation of vibrations, forces and forms and dependence and thoughts and feelings. All are simultaneously created. This is an aspect of existence; philosophy calls it “शक्ति प्रत्ययास येणे” आणि हि खूप गहन क्रिया आहे आणि अनंत काळ चालून आली आहे आणि तशीच होत राहणार आहे.

The point is that being born is a phenomenon of existence and that creates a mind and a body that is compelled to engage (or which engages with motion or a situation or imagination or constructs). Any word that is felt or used or expressed finally indicates an imagination of Existence! And the imagination is of such nature that it seems to “create a reality of things or forms for us!” and it does not stop there; one attaches the self to this phenomenon and loses the sight of Truth! Therefore a creation is a mysterious undertaking by consciousness that brings certain motion into existence in terms of forms and these forms in turn seem to attach themselves as independent entities to this phenomenon by completely losing the meaning of creative process!  

Above is true for any life form of any size, shape, character time, scale, space. Even if this is stated as intellectual analysis, it still causes intense feelings about existence. Hence intense feelings, wavering of thoughts etc can cause inner turmoil and struggle. This is the result or the consequence of being engaged with the phenomenon without understanding how it is created and why. Then we perceive, we run, we defend, we justify, we complain, we fear, we control, we imagine, we project, we have guilt, and so many things we think we ought to do or satisfy or be in control of. In short, so much of worry and stress!

Becoming aware of this is one of the first steps to change the state of mind to something much steadier and subtle and universal. This is again a process and involves complete surrender of the ego to the universal consciousness. This is NOT an escape route nor of rejection or of dismissal and if one even operates from these mentioned intents, the realization of the Truth is not attained. Hence to become the Truth should be an act of developing complete trust and humility and patience.

In reality of motion, we have only partial knowledge (that is the reason we are born or choose to engage with a phenomenon); we are only partially aware of the Truth of being or Existence. The concept of ‘we’ is temporary and in this ‘temporariness’ many feelings are created. The task is to make the self steady; become universally aware and become the Truth. This will be attained. Have faith.

To be concerned about universal connection is intrinsic but cannot be and need not be forced, since it will feel as being conditioned and controlled - else it starts to feel getting defensive. This happens because the universal dimension as Truth is felt in different intensities and hence the suggestion is not taken in appropriate spirit. This may also happen in other ways or actions or words as well, and hence the kind of universally connected output one suggests or expects or discusses in terms of space and time may not be seen in that spirit by “all” (or by different forms). Forms become different, means they perceive existence in different ways and hence the Truth appears or seems to behave in different ways on different people.

This is called as Satwa-Raja-Tama in philosophical terms – motives that make forms appear and change and remain interdependent. By this it is also evident that the start point of a force cannot be ascertained with surety and that in no way again justifies who or what you are. I mean the definition of justification is not to be conditioned or depended on what is felt as signals of motion coming from situations or individual forms. Hence to “search” for authentic truth in a situation need not become a necessity – it should be a natural process of unfolding (again not told to anyone).

Again defensiveness of internal signals, sequences, variables that one ‘creates’ and with which one deals or connects with an external phenomenon is not necessary to ‘exist’. In fact, justification is a construct of a state of mind – it is a ‘force’ that seeks justification and through which thoughts and feelings get created and actions created. Existence, if coming from motion (or ego) will forever seek justification (or how ‘I’ is made and connected and evolved and speculated and so on). Thus the inquiry is what should be ‘felt’ or realized as the nature of Existence?

In current times, too fast a change is creating internal world of forces that phenomenally mean anxiety, stress, withdrawal symptoms, defensives, burst of weirdness, annoyance, extreme demands on privacy, micro management or micro control, plagiarism of feelings and many other feelings – summarily externally people either become too rigid or too aloof or too careless or too much suspended in a dreamy world. As this is written, it is felt why the need of micro management or control and surveillance and micro planning and too much production and rules and excess occupancy of the mind has occurred? Where is this tendency located? Understanding of this may lead to a different approach of living.

I think the issue is about ‘expression’ and NOT ‘defense’ and there seems to be a confusion and an inclination to gravitate perception to a defensive mode instead of expression mode.

Will expression stand its ground against defensiveness? This is the crux of the issue.

Shree: phenomenon and transcendence

There is always a connection between part to the whole – both define each other and cannot exist independently. Therefore local and global are two dimensions of phenomenon, just as inner and outer or visible and invisible or tangible and intangible.

Criticality is analyzing this relationship between the two. Again criticality is not to justify or defend but only to understand the phenomenon. Therefore ‘phenomenon’ as a reality critically encompasses both dimensions and it is an apparent creation coming from One medium. When one mentions transcendence, one is referring to going beyond this duality. The process is very mysterious since there is no start point to this, for whatever the mind conceives and does – comes from the dimension of duality! Yet there are ideas to proceed in this journey and the fundamental idea is of trust and surrendering to the One.

As one goes deeper in mindscape, one reaches vibrations which are interconnected and slow to change – which means that the mind expands as well. Expansion means to become deeper and subtle and full of Truth – these dimensions happen at the same time. Perhaps simultaneousness is the nature of existence and hence to become steady is to achieve steadiness in this state of existence (simultaneity; and not linearity).

If I know and understand and accept that simultaneity is connections of all forces, all vibrations, all scales, all times then I should develop an inner dimension of becoming relaxed in this awareness and whatever happens and whatever changes and becomes and unfolds – there is always presence of God behind those happenings, including us.

‘I’ am a phenomenon of existence; of being; of motion. Phenomenon is a state of existing. Existing (as a process or a state) is always there. That state creates imaginations, impacts us and creates thoughts and feelings that keep changing and remain connected. All of these dimensions from vibrations to forms are a result of this phenomenon of existence.

Hence do what is right and do it keeping God in focus. Just do it.

श्री: भाव

 

श्री: भाव

भाव हे अस्तित्वाच एक स्वरूप किवा स्वभाव आहे. मुळ सत्यातला भाव आहे “अस्तित्वाचा”...ज्याला शांत आणि आनंद सम्बोधीत केल आहे आणि जो अनंत असतो आणि कधीही बदलत नाही (स्थिर असतो). ह्याचा अर्थ कि हा भाव असतोच आकारांच्या पलीकडे आणि म्हणून तो सर्वात मूळ वस्तू आहे. त्या भावनेतून इतर सर्व भावना तैय्यार होतात आणि त्यांना एक आकार मिळतो. ह्याचा अर्थ कि वृत्ती भावनेला बदलवते आणि त्याला एका आकारात किवा दृश्यात आणते. म्हणून कुठल्याही दृश्य वस्तूच्या मागे भाव असणारच किवा भाव कारणीभूत ठरेल. आपल्या दररोजच्या जीवनात भावना स्थिर नसल्यामुळे आपल्याला अनेक आकार दिसतं राहतात.

भावना एका प्रकारे अस्तित्वाचा स्वभाव आहे, जसा आकारात येणे हा देखील स्वभाव आहे आणि विचार असणे. ह्या गोष्टी एकमेकांमध्ये मिसळलेल्या असतात म्हणून स्थिर होणे म्हणजे सर्व बाजूने स्थिर व्हायला लागत. स्थिरता असणे हे शक्य आहे  आणि ते आकारांवर ठरत नाही किवा अमुक एक परिस्थिती पाहिजे असही नाही. सर्वांच्या पलीकडे होणे म्हणजे “भाव”.

लोकांना उगाच वाटू शकत कि आपण विलीन झालो कि भावनेच काय? विलीन झालो तर भगवंताची कृपा झाली अस समजावे कारण त्याच प्रक्रियेमध्ये कोटी कोटी प्रमाणात आनंद निर्माण होतो. विचार किवा भावना ह्या बद्दल बुद्धिभेद करण्यात तसा अर्थ नाही. “स्थिर” होणे हे आपल ध्येय आहे – त्यामध्ये विचार आणि भावनांची प्रक्रिया आलीच आणि त्याचा शेवट म्हणजे “भाव” होणे.

श्री: प्रतिक

 

श्री: प्रतिक

तुझ्या बद्दल विचार करणे आणि त्याचा अर्थ भावेंच्या लेखी आणि कुर्तीच्या लेखी काय होतो, कसा उमटतो हे देखील समजत राहावे. सर्व ठिकाणी तु आहेस, कुणी वेगळ नाही आणि म्हणून वृत्ती काय, विचार काय, भावना काय आणि शरीर काय – ते तुझच प्रतिक आहे. साहजिकच त्या प्रतीकचा स्वभाव आकारुनसार बदलत राहतो. जे दृश्यात जाणवत तो झाला “स्वभाव” किवा “गुणधर्म” आणि त्यामुळेच परावलंबनाची स्थिती, संकल्पनाच क्षेत्र, हेतूची व्याख्या, दृश्याच स्वरूप, ‘मी’ ची व्याख्या निर्माण होत राहते. म्हणजे ज्या गोष्टी ‘मला’ दिसतं राहतात, आणि ‘मी’ संबोधित होतो – ते सर्व तूच आहे. थोडक्यात सांगायचं म्हणजे आमचा प्रवास तुला शोधण्याचा आणि आत्मसाद करण्याचा आहे – त्या पुढे अनेक्पणाने जग दिसेल, पण त्याला चालना देणारी शक्ति तुझीच आहे. सर्वांच्या “पलीकडे किवा पाठीमाडे” तूच विलसित आहे.

श्रद्धेचा स्वभाव नेहमी “पलीकडच्या शक्तीला” अस्तित्वात आणणे, असा असतो. किवा तिच्यावर आपण आपल सर्वस्व अर्पण करणे असा देखील होतो. म्हणून विचार आणि श्रद्धे मध्ये फरक असतो. विचारांमध्ये बुद्धीभेद आणि अहंकार असतो – ती स्थिर राहत नाही. श्रद्धा विचारांच्या पलीकडे/ उर्ध्वस्थिती किवा अगोदर असल्यामुळे ती नेहमीच स्थिर आणि अनंत असते – तिला कुठल्याही गोष्टीची सांगड घालण्याची जरुरी राहत नाही. म्हणजेच कि शुद्ध आणि सत्य अस्तित्व होणे म्हणजे श्रद्धा विस्तारलेली होणे.

आपल्या मनात श्रद्धा संक्रांत व्हायला हवी. त्यातुंच विचार आणि भावनाच स्वरूप घडायला हवं. आपण जे विचार आणि भावना ‘स्वतंत्र’ समजतो ते तसं नाही आहे = ते सर्व एका भगवंताहून उद्भवत राहत. आपण विचारांना आणि भावनांना “मी” म्हणतो किवा “जीव” म्हणतो – आणि हे सर्व निर्माण होण्याच्या प्रक्रियेमध्ये अंतर्भूत आहे. म्हणून बदलांना आपण घाबरतो आणि त्याला खर मानून कार्य करत राहतो. अस का व्हायला हव हे बुद्धीच्या आकल्नेत बसत नाही म्हणून दृश्य जग आपल्याला पूर्णपणे संतुष्ट किवा समाधानी बनवू शकत नाही. जो पर्यंत “मी” हि संकल्पना आहे, तो पर्यंत दुखःला आमंत्रण आहे मनामध्ये.

ह्या सर्व वस्तुस्थितीच उत्तर आहे कि तुझ नाम घेत राहावे आणि श्रद्धा वाढवावे.
