To be extremely occupied with
“work” is a sort of being engaged with expectations, separations, judgments,
evaluations, assumptions, proofs, aggressions and so on. This is imagination
that gets one engaged in some pursuit. This same imagination plays out in any
time and the intent of creating anything, if it lies herein, then one may not
discover or become peaceful. All is a mist – be it information or explanation
or thinking or action (in one perspective). The problem with people is that
they seem to be unaware of (or perhaps unable to reach the capacity of) their
tendency getting expressed through some phenomenal developments of Divine
Action. So they run, search, speak, talk, discuss with the sole idea that the
subtleness can be controlled or brought out or twisted or something. There is
only one answer to this – realizing the relation of states of awareness from
within to outside. Let us accept we don’t know why we fear. We don’t know - it means that we can’t understand what
grips us and informs our perception or what controls us or what compels us to
act and why and how and where and when etc. it is funny that the intellect
wants answers to these questions and since it can’t get it in its own language,
it creates “fear”. So fear becomes “conditional thought” – it is created on
account of not understanding or feeling the truth or becoming the truth itself.
Fear gets “created” - this means it need
not be there in absolute sense. It is created based on the awareness that the
human form has about itself. Fear is a complex emotion and subtle too and can
connect to many situations, objects, forms, times, scales and so on. it is true
with anything – even silence or anything one does can connect with anything
else. So who owns fear? This is same as saying how did the human form arise? So
anything is the phenomenon is not owned by anyone else – not even fear or
anything or even conditions.
If one understands this, then one
can become “free” of the impacts of creation. Being free means to know that one
need not own anything to define oneself – one’s existence is not based on these
attributes (of fear or love or work or brain or heart or body or anything
else). I am not bound by these things. So ownership comes into play only when
one assumes some “limited role” in existence!
But this needs learning and
patience. Transformations may not happen overnight, since that is how it is, as
the nature of what we are dealing with. There is no need of explaining anything
to anyone – everyone knows what is the problem, even if they may not admit it
or verbalize it. And the problem again, is “not personal”! If one accepts this,
then one’s relation to others takes on a certain dimension of deeper connection
– beyond conditions.
