Why does a person analyse? Perhaps there are certain tendencies that trigger this 

1) one wants to _solve_ something so it doesn't bother him/ her for a prolonged time. This is an immediate action.

2) the deeper inquiry is what is it that one feels *compelled* to solve? And why? That leads to the trigger of tendencies, patterns, perceptions, inferences, human condition. Somewhere the answer points to a pattern of _fear_ or ego. 

3) finally the inquiry goes still deeper to search where does this fear exist, how does it operate and how to transcend this?

4) that, then leads to a Path, which is required to be engaged throughout one's life.
