Existence is sacred. Everything around us and including us and our being in the world is sacred.
Existence and it's behaviour is not man made or as a phenomenon is "beyond" man. This is obvious, but the scientific determination doesn't accept this so easily.
Since it comes from Beyond or is made by Beyond, there exists full capacity of human imagination to create any experience to relate to the phenomenon of place. Existence puts human form and environment simultaneously at the same level of creation. Hence the perception of either is more than causal or interdependent and it is upto either as to what to make of this relationship.
Louis Kahn, at times, spoke of this spatial relationship perhaps from this reference. That, spatial relationship "becomes" or "happens" hinting at a very deep, existential role in its creation....suggesting that space also comes from Existence, so has a transcendental quality.
There are pre modern cultural ideas (example being of Pueblo near Mexico) that suggest this character of Being through their environments.
All this goes on to say that science is also not absolute - it has its own character and it also establishes our sense of Being in a 'different' way.
Seen from this attitude, no knowledge process is superior to anything else. And then we may be able to accommodate all worldviews that exist contemporary in this phenomenal world.
